It's a New Day!

I've mentioned before we've been working on a new website for the store and it has arrived! Check it out here! We may have a bit of fine tuning still to do and we're still working on adding a page or two more of content but we're very excited to share this with you. Jessica, Sharon's daughter, is our webmaster and has done a lot of the work in getting the site up and running and we are interested in getting your feedback as to how you like, or don't like what you see on the site.  Scroll down to see our slideshow of store photos and then click the headings at the top of the site to see the different pages on our site.

As I've said before, we share photos so I've borrowed from our Facebook page, emails and messages we send each other for today's updates. I also took a few photos myself while I was in the store yesterday. Lastly, I may have to change my posting day to Friday as I've been unable to post new posts via my iPad. Either it's getting old or I am...but the app I usually use to take photos, create text and do new posts via my pad is not working any longer. Today I'm posting from home and that may be my new reality from now on.

Anyway, here we go with what's NEW and exciting! First up, Misti* - Most Incredible Stamp Tool Invented! It may have it's copy cats and alternate versions, but the original still works pretty darn well! We FINALLY received the correct order from them and have gotten in many of the accessories that were trotted out at CHA this year. The Creative Corner are in - but they are going fast. The good news is we have a new shipment expected next week. We also have the cleaner, grid pads, and cushion pads for the original MISTI and the Mini MISTI.

NEW!  Nuvo pen sets - watercolor, fine tipped and brush tipped.

NEW! Nuvo - Enamels in Jewel Effects, gorgeous colors!

Washi Tape, Coloring cards, and more!

NEW from Kaiser Craft - DIY Dies!

NEW! from Sizzix great die collections

NEW! from Kaiser - Lovely spring papers with a watercolor look.

Create layered cards with pre-cut images. Just layer with foam tape to create 3-D images!

Great inspiration for the day. Penny Black, Oxides and Cheery Lynn Designs create this beautiful card.
That's it for this week. I hope to be back on Thursday but if not, definitely look for a new post of what's new in store (literally) on Friday. Have a great week and happy crafting! Donna

It Ain't Easy...

This is my third attempt at posting on the blog this week. My first two wouldn't upload my photos so I switched computers and posting sites. The good news is that I think this will post, the bad news is that I'm not sure I'll have photos, argh!!!

Let's see what I can do, first up - NYS dies from Cherry Lynn - these are going fast!

NEW! Artist watercolor pencils

NEW! Cutter Bee die sets

NEW! Graphic 45's new collections

NEW! Tim Holtz stamp sets from Stampers Anonymous!

NEW! Art Crayons, what gorgeous colors!
Now that I've managed (by some miracle) to post photos, I'm quitting while I'm ahead! See you next week, knock on wood! Happy crafting!

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.

Wow, how about the high winds this past week!  We were fortunate, lost
our cable TV  for two days due to downed trees and
wires on our street, but no loss of power.  Relatives in the Rochester
area still had no power as of Sunday.

Cottage Cutz has come out with these wonderful Stamp and Die sets
with a flower stamp and matching die for every month of the year.
I chose the Rose, month of June.

Here is the card I made this week.

Close up

A quick post this week as I'm on the road today. We are expecting some exciting new products from January's CHA show any day now but this week has been a little slow. That's not a bad thing as we have Stamp Camp again this coming Monday. I have a few photos so here we go.

New Sizzix dies AND stamp and dies kits.

Also from Sizzix, Tim Holtz's dies

I have a preview of March's Bible Journaling class.
See you next week. Alexander Renke is coming!

BSS IDEA - Easter's on it's Way

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Idea.

Hi Stamping friends, brrrr, back to winter this weekend.  Good time to
get into the craft room and create!

There is only one thing I love more than a great snowman
stamp and that is a bunny stamp.  Found this gem on my
last visit to the store.

I used gray ink to stamp the image leaving the lines softer.
After I finished coloring the image, I used chalks to create
a background.

Thinking on Thursday

Yeah, I know, Donna thinking - a dangerous thing! Here's what I'm thinking about today:
1. The weather! It was 54 yesterday morning when I first left the house. This morning it was 27 - half of what it was! I don't get spring fever easily, but this is ridiculous!
2. You Tube videos - I love technique/instructional videos but they're like Lays; you can't watch just one! I watch a Jennifer McGuire video and two-three hours later...I have to walk away or I need a twelve step program.
3. Scrapbooking - I need to get my mojo back. My retreat is next week and I've got pictures printed out and I'll be planning pages this weekend. One of the pages I'll be planning will feature the last photo in this post. That's where the videos come in, inspiration!

We've got a lot of new displays, new product and new ideas for you. Something else I think about every week is what's new. Here's what we've got:

Easter! Here's part of our Easter display, I apologize for the fuzzy photos
I love these wooden deco pieces.

For St. Patrick's Day

Penny Black has many great new stamps and dies

These are 3-D dies they are between an inch to two inches tall - very cute and different.

Hedgehogs, cats, puppies, mice and baby fairies - oh my!

Beautiful scripty titles and sentiments along with floral images..

Cling images.

A few new dies from IO.

A new washi tape line from Tim Holtz. There are 6 different collections and each tube has about 6-8 coordinating tapes.

These new tapes and Tim's other Ideology products are part of our new embellishments wall.

Hero's Inks come in mini's now.

I love a beautiful selection of rainbow cardstock papers.

Lastly, here is one of my scrapbook page photos for next week. My daughter Alexa and several of her sorority sisters. Alexa's 'little', Alexa's 'big' her big's big and her big's big's big! or little, big, g-big and g-g-big! Whew!
That's it for this week. I'll have another post on Tuesday as I'm away next Thursday. Have a great week and happy crafting!
