Thursday Things

Whew! I thought it was supposed to slow down in summer. Instead, things are heating up! We've got A LOT coming up for you in July and August and we're trying to get  jump on letting you know what we have in-store - literally, for you!

Stamp Camp is coming up the end of July and early August. Our Wild and Wacky sale is the week of July 14 - 19, Debby Schuh is here for three great classes on July 12. Speaking of July 12th, it is shaping up to be BSS's BIG Crafty Day! In addition to Debbie's classes we are holding another All-Day Crop from 10-9. Lunch, dinner, goodie bag, dedicated table space and if you are planning on attending one of Debby's classes you'll get $10 off your crop price of $40. What a deal! But, there's more...we'll be doing make n' takes in the store that day from 11-4. A full day of crafty fun! I've got more but first, let's have some photos.

New from Sizzix, large sized dies for your Big Shot.

New and refreshed sprays from Heidi Swapp. We've also got some great embellishments suitable for cards and scrapbooks from Heidi

Here's the new G45 'Come Away With Me' paper. We also got in a few of the Taylored Expressions mini dies Mona used to create the sized down version of the explosion box card seen here...

...but they are going fast.

Jennifer Griffiths a Design Team member from Memory Box will be here July 26 & 27. She will be teaching four different classes with two different themes. Two classes will be Holiday themed and the other two we are calling Memory Box Delights. Learn from a master how to combine MB stamps, dies, and stencils to create your own designer cards!

Did you ever wonder where those wonderful dies we all love come from? Join us on August 8th and meet Mike Dywan, owner of Direct Dies out of Phoenix, Arizona. Direct Dies manufacturers dies for many of the companies we carry here in the store including Cheery Lynn and many more. Mike is originally from Buffalo and will be demoing a variety of dies and a new cutting machine on the afternoon of the 8th. The class is Free, but at Mike's suggestion we will be asking for a donation to our Christmas Family Fund. Everyone will receive a free gift and invaluable tips and tricks for using, storing and caring for your dies. Look for more information in upcoming blogs and e-mails.

Lastly, the Stamp, Scrap, Art Tour is coming back to the fairgrounds the weekend of August 23 & 24. We will be exhibiting and we will be selling tickets as soon as we receive them from SSAT. Mark your calendars!

That's it for today (I hope I got it all!) Stay tuned to BSS on social media - Facebook, e-mails, blog and smoke signals for all the latest and greatest we've got going this summer. I'll see you next week, TTFN!
