Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea - Simple Sponging Technique

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.

This weeks idea is a simple sponging technique to create a lovely snow scene.

Stamp set used - Penny Black - Spread Cheer Clear Stamp Set (30-320)
White card 5x7 inch, black and green card stock mats
Sharpie poster paint white pen for snow dots.
Green Twine bow.

To create the snow hills, tear a piece of paper towel.

Using a straight line, sponge blue on a section at the
top for the sky. Leave the center mostly white.
Next, using the torn paper towel, place it on an angle
from one corner of the straight line.  With a sponge and
light blue ink, starting on the paper towel, sponge upward
across the card just at the edge of the torn paper towel.

Move the paper towel down on the card at the opposite angle.
Also use a long enough piece of paper towel so you can move it
side to side so you aren't making the same pattern all the way
down on the card.  Keep moving the paper towel on the opposite
angle until you get to the bottom of your card.
Stamp the scenery elements, dot with the pen.  If you want to
add some sparkle, sponge clear ink on the white areas
and emboss with a clear sparkle embossing powder.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great week.  Until later......
