This Week, Part Deux!

Back for my second post of the week. We are expecting our shipment of Ranger's new Distress Oxide Inks the beginning of the week. (They may have even already shipped because our friend Elisabeth in New Jersey at Paper Anthology already got hers!) There's still time to call the store and reserve your favorite colors or all of them!

I need to do a bit of housekeeping. We had a bit of a miscommunication in yesterday's e-mail regarding a discount with our Bag Lady bags. The email should have read that anyone buying a Bag Lady bag this weekend (through Monday) will also get a 10% discount on all regular priced purchases when purchasing the bag that day. As always, regular exclusions apply.  We apologize for the misleading wording. There is no discount for those of you who already have a Bag Lady bag. Again, we apologize for any confusion we may have caused.

It's a slow week for shipments at the store but a very hectic week for Sharon otherwise. Many of the companies we deal with are prepping for a show next month and Fall and Winter lines are being released to store owners for pre-orders. We also have our classes set for July and August and Sharon is working on the dates and times so we can post on-line by the first of July. So while Sharon is really busy trying to keep up, we haven't seen our favorite UPS and FedEx drivers nearly enough!  I thought I'd showcase several displays around the store for those of you who may have not been in lately or who have been looking for summer ideas. I also have a little preview of something exciting for us at the end of the post.

First up, Stampendous! We have a great collection of House Mouse and Stampendous images for you to color. How about stamping several images and sitting outside under an umbrella with your markers or pencils and a glass of wine? Practice, practice, practice...

Next up is Laurel Burch. We've gotten in some new images and we have lots of great samples to inspire you. Bonnie, one of our regulars here at the store, brought in  a selection of cards she colored with Zig Clean Color Watercolor pens. I wish I had taken a picture of her cards as the colors were lovely and while vibrant were just a little softer in their look than Copics. They showed that you can very successfully use other coloring mediums on these beautiful stamps. You are not limited to Copics. Think out of the box! P.S. - Sharon says her holiday and Christmas images are gorgeous!

By the sea, by the sea, by the beautiful sea! We've created a sea/shore/lake/fun in the sun section for those of you who are lucky enough to be near and to be able to vacation near water. We've also included the proper accessories - barbecue, cocktails and ice cream!

Back to that email that went out...There were two major sales included in that email that weren't typos! Memory Box is a BOGO - Buy one, get one! ALL stamps and dies!

Included in the sale is also these select Art Impressions stamp sets.

Now for that preview I promised. Sharon has been working on creating two exclusive stamp sets for the store. We will have both ready for the Hamburg show in August and here is a preview of several cards my very creative fellow employees have made. We will also be featuring many of the Buffalo specialty papers at the show and our buffalo dies.

I got word that the other stamp we have in the works will feature a snow globe and a matching die!?!
Have a wonderful and safe July 4th. We will be open Monday until 3:00 p.m. and closed on Tuesday, the fourth. See you next week!
