It's Back to Fall!

Did you have a good summer? I certainly hope so. Every year our summer seems shorter and shorter. We begin to gear up for fall and winter earlier and earlier. For us, we have the jump start of the summer shows that feature Fall and Winter releases from all our favorite companies. This either gets us in the spirit or has us groaning as we anticipate Buffalo winters. Personally, I'm thrilled to get cooler temperatures and Fall colors and themes. It's my favorite time of the year.

Here at the store it feels as if there is no slow season. Once it seemed like we would get a lull a couple of times a year before big doings would start again but this year it felt like we were always going and facing new deadlines and events all year round. We had a great summer and managed to fit in a stamp camp, the garage sale and our fall kick-off, the Stamp, Scrap, Art Tour. Did you see Janelle's video on Facebook! She is so good! We may have to get her to do videos on a regular basis!

Many, many thanks to all who visited our booth at the show and then stopped at the store; that's devotion! We were excited to debut our Buffalo Snow Globe stamp and die along with a smaller buffalo clear set that we managed to misplace during the show but will make it's debut here on the blog and at the store next week.

I'm posting some of the new product we featured at the show and we are in the process of moving everything back and rearranging, moving up Fall and Winter stamps, dies, papers and more!

We have even more! Here are several pictures of new product brought back to the store from the show.  If you didn't get a chance to come to the show, we still have some great new product going up every day. Ill try and focus on specific stamps and samples as we move into fall to give you a better idea of the stamps we have.

We are also trying to squeeze in some time to work on the new classes for September and October and get our schedule up by the beginning of next week. We have invited a few new and old friends to contribute a class or two for the upcoming months in an effort to take some of the pressure off Sharon who is going on a well deserved vacation with her family to DisneyWorld this September.

We have the beginnings of Halloween displays and Christmas displays. Sharon tweeks them daily so I'm never sure what the store will look like when I come in! Just to give you an idea of the task we faced this week here's a photo of what the back table looked like going into Thursday. Trust me when I tell you you didn't want to see what it looked like on Monday!

This is the back-back room and table! So much cool stuff and so little time to get it all out!

Everyone here at Buffalo Stamps and Stuff can not thank our customers and friends enough for all the support you gave us during this show weekend. I had a customer thank me this weekend for being nice to her - it's a no brainer. Our customers, friends and supporters make it so easy for us to want to offer you the best we can in service, advice and convenience. We would not be here if not for you all. Lastly, I want to thank Sharon and Mark for their generosity. The amount of time and hard work they put into BSS is immeasurable and makes it a joy for all of us who work here to serve you.

Here's to a great Fall full of color and inspiration to us all!
