Do you have a wish list?

We're often asked for recommendations for gift ideas from husbands, kids, friends and other relations who are shopping for a card maker or scrapbooker. This has got to be my number one hardest question to answer. So I thought I'd wander around the store and see if I can give you any ideas of 'hints' you can give the gift giver in your life.

1. The biggie! - a new die cutting machine! We have several in stock including the Tim Holtz Sizzix Sidekick. It looks like the regular Sidekick but it comes with a different die and embossing folder especially designed to fit into the smaller opening of a Sidekick. This is a great little portable machine especially for word dies and small mini dies and detail pieces. It won't be your primary die cut machine but you'll be amazed how often you will grab it as it's small enough to fit on your craft table for those quickie jobs. We also have the workhorse Big Shot and the Spellbinder's Platinum machines.

2. Nesting dies - There are so many! Frame dies, scallop frames, scallop on the inside of the frame, on the outside of the frame, in square, rectangles, ovals and circles! Stitched dies in all shapes; heart shaped nested dies, star dies, hexananal dies and many more!

3. Embossing powders - We have so many colors. Spring is coming!

4. The new Oxide Distress Inks - need to complete your set?!?

5. Looking for an excuse to invest in Alexandra Renke papers and dies? I think I found one!

6. A stamping platform - Time Holtz's Tonic Stamp Platform! I have honestly not heard a bad word about this stamping platform. Easy to use, fits all sizes of paper, usable with clear and rubber stamps with the flip of the lid, durable - and less expensive that the M***** platform...just saying

7. Alternative coloring mediums - ever wanted to try watercolors? Tombow markers, colored pencils, Zig Clean Color Markers? Need I go on? What a great time to ask for that coloring medium you've been wanting to experiment with but the extra cost is putting you off. Don't forget specialty paper for your watercolor or comics. It does make a difference!

8. Tools, glorious tools! I'm a tool fan, can you guess? How about a set of dental tools or poking stick tools - whatever you want to call them. I love them! Tweezers, you can never have too many tweezers especially the fine nosed ones. Again, I have several...

9. A heat gun - or a new one! The Wagner heat gun is awesome! How about the new Tonic craft mat or the Ranger craft mat. You'll find you may end up with two of these also, one to put in your basic kit and one for your at home work space. (I even know of folks who attach theirs to their work mat so that's it's always available to keep those inky messes under control).

10. Stencils - Ok, you found me out. I'm a card carrying member of SA - Stencil's Anonymous. I love stencils, MFT, Hero, Altenew, Tim Holtz - STOP ME!!!!

11. Foam Tape, Squares and Dots - you can never have enough adhesives! Different sizes, shapes and thicknesses, pop away!

12. Scor-Tape - another you can't have too much of! 1 inch, 1/2", 3/8", 1/4"and 1/8" - we also have it in a roll 6 inches wide and on sheets!

13. Foiling! - a Lamination machine - now hear my reasoning on why your hubby will love this one. It can be used to laminate your license, your Social Security card, directions you want to attach to the fridge, the kids artwork, contact numbers for the babysitter! Then when he's not looking, foil away! Ask for an assortment of colors and you are good to go! Don't forget the stencil paste, or foilable sheets. Combine them with the stencils of #10 and you are good to go!

So there you have 13 ideas for anyone looking to get you something you can use or need or just want for your craft room! Remember, only 11 shopping days til Christmas!
