Post Show Post!

Labor Day is just a few days away as is the end of our unusually hectic summer. I hope you all had a chance to visit the Stamp, Scrap, Art Tour last weekend. Our booth was hopping as usual and we thank you all very much for that. I was a runner on Saturday bopping from store to show and around town to get all those odds and ends folks were looking for. I had a chance to take a quick tour of the show and I think we had the best booth there! I didn't see the variety of companies we offered at any other booth. So again, on behalf of Sharon and Mark and everyone here at BSS, THANK YOU!

On tap for this week: Sharon and Mark are finally getting away to visit their new grand baby, Brianna! Here at the store we are putting everything back that we brought back from the show and staging the store for fall. We've moved some things around so I thought I'd post a few photos.

In addition to our regular display of Memory Box we've added a holiday based display at the back of the store on one of the towers.

The Lavinia stamps from the UK are right before the back tables on the right. There is a great selection of these whimsical stamps.

Up front on the left as you walk in is our Fall tower display with a sign describing our store or as we like to call it, 'Our Happy Place'.

On the right as you walk in is Halloween central.

On the right, center aisle side is our Halloween wooden stamps, papers and dies. With some embellishment  rolled in.

We also have NEW Tim Holtz's Halloween Ideology papers, phrases and ephemera.

He's also come out with some really cute dimension product. Love the bones!

New in are the Altenew Watercolors. The watercolors are specially packaged for a short time with an empty pan set for you to experiment and mix colors with included, FREE!

Crafter's Companion has these four embossing folders with holiday images. The cards are not on the matching folder but it's all good and my bad! Oops!

Lawn Fawn was a huge hit at the show last week. We've moved the current release up by the register; so don't panic when you can't find the stamps and dies from this collection with the rest of our Lawn Fawn display.

We set out two new Christmas paper collections this week. The first up is from a new company called Stamperia

We have one full set each of the two collections along with some open stock.

Simple Stories is back with simply lovely paper! I look forward to their collection every year.

Well that's it for me this week. Have an enjoyable Labor Day Weekend. The store will be open normal hours Friday and Saturday but we will be closed on Sunday and Monday. Happy Crafting!
