Back on Target

I went a little off schedule last week by posting on Monday, but I really wanted to show you all that was new in the store and how we've moved things around. This week we're back to normal and preparing for Saturday's MFT class with Stephanie and for Stamp Camp, right around the corner.  Sharon has us doing die cut backgrounds and images so I know samples will be appearing soon. Dates will be posted on the website and here as soon as we get them and emails will announce our first Stamp Camp of the year also.

I'm waiting on new product photos so until they show up in my in-box I have some card inspiration and class photos to share. First up is our Alcohol Ink on Black class. This is a fun class if you enjoy creating different backgrounds with alcohol ink.

Art Impressions has created a new category of stamps and dies called 'Twist It'. You get a cute interactive stamp/die set with this new product and Sharon is doing a class with them.

New dies to create cute critters from Waffle Flower. Everybody needs a unicorn.

My wait is over! Here is the new Lawn Fawn release. We were unpacking on Wednesday and pricing and putting out on the shelves.

Take note of the card with the rainbow circle and leaves. This card features Lawn Fawns new magnifying, lens opening die (sorry I don't know the official name!)

Lawn fawn is exploring the world of stencils. Here are some new offerings!

This is the die I was telling you about above. that round circle and the the other dies in that package will let you create a lens opening and closing effect on you cards. Checkout Lawn Fawns videos to see how they are made.

Studio Katia is also in with some awesome new dies.

Concord and 9th with new stamps including a new Turn About stamp!

Last up is Memory Box. We've restocked some favorites and some new takes on a basic shape.

We also have scheduled one of our favorite guest artists back for another alcohol ink class, Laura Cott. Laura will be doing another Fluid Alcohol Ink class on Saturday, February 29th from 2 to 4 pm. I believe she will also be showing a marbling technique you can do with alcohol inks. Call the store to sign up, spaces will go fast!

Lastly, my husband and I decided to take Ted's Hot Dogs up on it's offer of dogs for 93 cents to celebrate their 93rd anniversary. We were not prepared! This is where we started. At the back wall of the dining room of the Transit Rd location in Clarence. The line started to double back where we were. Several nice young men came around with a basket of lollipops while we waited! Everyone was in a good mood, no griping!

We're in site of the grill! Look at the hot dogs just pouring out of the metal pan! One of the guys walking around with the lollipops told us someone came in and ordered 290 hot dogs! No call ahead, no warning, 290 dogs! We only wanted 4 - and onion rings, of course!
See you next week! Have a crafting good time!
