Another week in...

Hi! Y'all! - Thought I'd try a different greeting this week. You know I'm a NY girl. You may not know I lived in Kentucky for almost three years. It was soooo... easy to slip into saying 'y'all' and to start sounding like Paula Dean!

Up this week we have a video duo! Welcome to the Sharon and Mona Show! Sharon drafted Mona to do a video featuring the Concord and 9th Rainbow Turnabout stamp set. As you will see (I hope) Mona loves C&9's turnabout stamps. We know a lot of you do too and some of you could use a tutorial on how to they work and the turnabout jig. Mona is going to show you how. Again, I will apologize for the images being a bit off center but I still think you will be able to follow Mona as she slowly walks you through using a turnabout stamp and jig. Click on the link below for Wednesday's video.

Sharon & Mona's Video

Sharon will be doing a 'Show and Tell' video on Facebook, Saturday morning at 10 a.m. We're going to show you what is new in the store. We have a lot! I was in the store, observing the required social distancing and wearing a mask, while there. On a side note, many of you know I dog-sit Sadie when Sharon and Mark go away to shows and vacations. She's my little girl and I always love to see her and I believe she loves to see me too. Today I walked into the store and she was sitting down by the tables. Normally she runs down the aisle to greet me as soon as I step in the door. Today I walked all the way to the tables, she looked at me and didn't move a muscle. She had no idea who I was as I was wearing a mask! Think I scared her. It took her a moment or two and a sniff or two to realize who I was.

Anyway, on to what I have to show you today. There will be more in Saturday's live video so please join us. First up, is W+9. Sharon may have briefly shown this in her last 'Show and Tell' but we liked them so much they are getting an encore. The stamp set does the a lot of the flowering and the birdcage is done with the die.

We also really liked this flowering tea cup stamp set. I see a cute idea for a card using a little masking paper...

This is another of Sharon's favorites from Reverse Confetti.

Next is Pink Fresh. They have come out with some unique sized dies. These dies are designed to be used to create cards that fit in regular letter sized envelopes. Running out of A2's? Here's a way to use envelopes you may have in your house and a different size to spark your creativity. Pink Fresh also has a new black stamp pad called Detail Black. I'm always looking for a good black stamp pad for detailed stamps - like this one!

Here are those dies. Lots of different designs and background edged varieties. Sharon will be working on some samples for next week.

Here is a unique product, Diamond cards. They are a cross between counted cross stitch and jewelry making only a lot easier than either one!  One of Mona's grandson's made one of these cards, so easy a child can do! Each kit contains one card, a pattern, and all the little gems you need to create the images you see in the photos.  The little packet with the placement tool, holder and mini tray is extra. Each card is $5.99 and the tool set is $1.99

Sharon has a system. Here is the back table filled with mailing envelopes, tissue paper, pulled orders and more! Just thought you'd like to see what order central looks like!

Lastly, Sharon received, hopefully, her first batch of Kindness cards. Tucked in the center you can see those little tags, "Card Making is my Super Power". Those and the card in the upper left are from Jennifer McGuire to Sharon. Thanks to everyone who sent Sharon cards. It really meant a lot to her. She was very touched by your support. So keep them coming!

I'm sorry, I couldn't resist. Here is a couple's unique way of creating a home made mask. I'll say no more...
That's it for this week. Please know we are all thinking of you, hoping you are staying home, staying safe and we are looking forward to seeing you soon. Have a good week, do a little (or a lot) of crafting and Stay Safe.
