Show and Tell video from Facebook. Sharon and I thought we had this down. She sat on one end of the table, I'm at the other end watching the feed on my iPad. Sharon could concentrate on what she was doing and I would feed her the comments and questions. Well, we didn't plan enough. First, the phone kept ringing. We will be taking it off the hook on Saturday! Then we had the mailman and a curbside pick-up pounding on the door. Then Sharon knocked over the water. I couldn't get this very nice lady from Ohio off the phone. Ran back and forth to the front of the store three times! Still missed the order for Debbie A...Yes, we will be planning better for Saturday. Click below for the video.
Wednesday Show and Tell Video
Before I move on I'd like to mention again that if you see something in the video or on the blog, in an email or on Instagram that you'd like, please go through on-line ordering first - before you call the store or email us. Even though we are still navigating entering product and we now have hundreds of our products on-line, it is the best way for us to process your request in the quickest manner. Also, it automatically deducts your purchases from our inventory. It saves us numerous steps in filling your requests if you use the on-line ordering. Trust me, we love to talk to you all because we miss you all terribly and we hope you know it isn't always about making a sale for us. Considering Sharon does 98% of the paperwork, the pulling of the product, the boxing, shipping and everything else short of entering new product on the website (Thank you Jessica!) we want to make it as easy for her as we can.
We had a request for the cards in the video to be posted to the blog. The card at the bottom of the first photo is a repeat but it has been very popular and I believe we have the stamps and dies back in stock.
The birdhouse is from MFT. The watering can is from Poppy and the die cut flowers below it are from MFT. The flowers in the repeat card are from W+9, I believe.
I really blew these up so you could see the effect you get with the Paper Glaze in the watering can at the bottom. It really looks like galvanized metal in person!
Lastly, Sharon had this paper sitting on the counter with the card on top. This is an example of a really easy, peasy card. Many of us buy more than one paper in a collection. Sharon used the tag paper, the flip side and another paper from the same collection for the large mat. A little quick cutting and you have a card ready to go. All the paper used is 12x12. I just wanted to show you how when you are going through your stash of papers, you can create some really great cards with papers you already have at home.
Shortly after the video ended Sharon got a call from her sister-in-law in Vermont. Sharon's mother-in-law lives with Mark's sister and she was so excited. She'd been feeling down and very grumpy, being restricted by the virus protocols, and then she got 16 cards one day and 12 the next. It just made her day! Thank you for all your Kindness Cards!
Join us on Saturday, May 2, at 1:00 for another 'Show and Tell' Video on Facebook. Until then Stay Safe!
