Wednesday's FaceBook video if you missed it HERE
We are almost a week in so, How you doin'?? We are doing great! We still have some adjustments to make and in many ways we are remaking the store because of Covid-19. Here are some of our new 'normals'.
1. On-line store - we are so happy so many of you have embraced our on-line store. Sharon has a system! I've said it before, I can't figure it out, but it works for her! Jessica has really stepped up in getting the store set-up, entering so much inventory and preparing us for...
2. A new POS system. POS stands for Point of Sale. It will be a new way of checking you out at the register. It will include a new computer register for tracking and updating our inventory from phone and email sales. We will be scanning bar codes and hopefully making the check out process smoother. There are a lot of parts to this system and it's very work intense on the front end before we go live, but it should make our lives easier when you check out. It will coordinate with the on-line store, we will be getting a new web page and more changes that we will see on our end. Again, Jess has been doing the heavy lifting researching, evaluating, recommending and coordinating what we are doing with the company Sharon has chosen to go with.
3. Video! - We do live videos twice a week! We used to cringe and worry about doing videos. Well, we still cringe (especially after we go back and review what we did!) but we are getting more comfortable as we go. We will continue with our videos even as we move into reducing Covid restrictions.
4. ZOOM! - We miss classes! We miss doing them, we miss having you come in and doing a class, we just miss classes! So next on Sharon's agenda is posting availability and selling kits for ZOOM BSS Classes! If you have a computer with internet access and can download the ZOOM app, you will be able to join us for classes! We should be (crossed fingers) up and running by the end of the month, hopefully sooner.
5. New store configuration. Now that we are restricting the amount of people in the store at any given time, we are also changing access in the store. We've moved our die cutting machines to the back-back room to make room for product display. We have a cleaning regimen in place and a large plastic screen in front of the register. We have our lines on the floor and our new display area up front which we debuted right at the beginning of the quarantine. Welcome to our new normal!
First, I have Saturday's video HERE

On to New Stuff! - Here is the change I mentioned above along our back counter. We've removed all the machines and Mark put up new slat wall and we have the Pink Fresh release displayed here.
I've been hearing good things about the Scrubby soaps and sponges. Are they working for you? I do like the Picket Fence scrubber. It's very soft and I like how it cleans my brushes.
Sharon talked about PhotoPlay's 'Best Dad Ever' paper pack. Here is a photo.
See you next week, DM
