BSS MONDAY IDEA - Interlocking Gatefold Card

WELCOME TO THE BUFFALO STAMPS AND STUFF MONDAY IDEA

All the Christmas "stuff" is taken down and lugged to the
basement for another year.

This week, I made a card with no Stamping except for the inside sentiment.
A very unusual thing for me, but the papers are so pretty and a new
card design, so something a little different this week.

Images are papers from Graphic 45-Woodland Friends Collection
Other papers used, Aqua and white card stock.

The Interlocking Gatefold card instructions:

Cut an 81/2 by 11 inch piece of  card stock  in half
the long way at 4 1/4. (you get two card bases that
are 4/1/4 x 11 inches) You only need one for this card.

Score at 2 3/4" from each end.

Fold on the score lines and crease with a bone folder,
making sure that they meet in the center to create
your gatefold card.

Choose an image for the front.  Die cut it out with any shaped
die you want (circles, squares and ovals work well)

Using the same die you cut the image with and the next size up (or two
sizes up if you want a larger frame) die cut the smaller die inside
the larger die to create a frame.

On the front panels, cut out decorative paper panels and glue in
place.

Before gluing in place, center the frame with the cut out
image on the front of the card for placement.

You are going to glue 1/2 the frame on the left side panel
and 1/2 the die cut image on the right side panel so that
when you close the card the image slides into the frame.
I marked the center on each piece on the back so I
knew where to place the glue on each piece.

Have a great week.
Until later.....
