I'm here to start your Labor weekend the right way, with a video from Sharon! I have Saturday's Facebook video for you HERE. I have a few things about the Facebook video to comment on. First, when I got ready to watch this today I thought I'd watch on my big 15" desktop monitor. I started out OK and then the video froze, again. I was also watching on my phone. My phone had a consistently better image with fewer pauses or breaks. You will notice Sharon shares that she's asked Jessica to post the video on YouTube. I'm going to second that idea. It was so much easier; the video didn't break and was generally a better experience. I don't know the lag time from when the video is on FB and when Jessica uploads to YouTube. I believe it will vary depending on Jessica's work load.
How do you get to YouTube? A couple of things if you have never used YouTube. First, it's free! There is a version that costs but seriously, you don't need it. You just type 'YouTube' in the address bar and it will take right to YouTube. Then look for the little magnifying glass and type in Buffalo Stamps and Stuff. Look for our logo, a circle photo of the front of the store and click it. NOTE: you may see other videos that mention Buffalo Stamps in their titles. These are sites that come up as part of the search. For example there are several "What I bought" videos that include BSS in the title because they came to the store to shop and are sharing their 'haul' on their video. You will also see the familiar glass mat that Sharon uses for most of her videos and either a date of the video or how old the video is, ie. 2 hrs. 7 days, etc.
You can watch whatever is listed as often as you's like. I went to my app store and downloaded the YouTube app for my devices. Again, it doesn't cost you anything and you can also search your favorite company, artist, project type and YouTube will show you thumb nails of what is available. Want to know how to make a shaker card? Just type it in the search line and it will show you a selection of videos from different sources on how to make a shaker card! It's easy peasy!
More Housekeeping: Sharon is prepping Maker Mania kits! WooHoo! for all those who signed up. Sharon also shared nine, count'em NINE new classes for September into October. Descriptions are up and Sharon said she will be filling dates this weekend.
Lastly, the store will be CLOSED on Monday for Labor Day and let's face it, Sharon deserves the day off!
That is it for me for today. Sorry, I don't have any product photos but I plan on visiting the store on Tuesday and hope to take photos then.
Here's my funny for today. No comment, absolutely no comment...
