Saturday Surprise

I have Saturday's Facebook video for you today and some pictures of the new Lawn Fawn release. First up is the video HERE. Maker Mania is next weekend and on Friday Sharon had to do her 15 minute store intro. Several of the store owners started their intros from outside their stores and then walked inside. Sharon thought she'd do the same. One o'clock came and we went outside (I acted as camera person to free up Sharon) Sharon introduced herself and store and we moved inside in front of the table display. We left the door open as it was a beautiful day (and would have ruined our continuity). About a minute or two later you could hear a child screaming, wailing, crying at the top of his lungs! It was like he was in the store! Sharon bravely continued and explained there was a children's hair cutting place next door to us. The wailing stopped - for about a minute and then began again in earnest. Sharon had to finally go outside and ask for quiet as we were doing a video. The comments we got on our video! People watching thought we had that kind of noise all the time! Needless to say, we weren't thrilled with the mother's lack of parenting skills...

On to Lawn Fawn, they had a huge release featuring Fall, Halloween and Christmas/winter.

Speaking of the holidays, we’re starting our annual Holiday Family Adoption fundraiser. The Vera Bradley store in the Niagara Falls Outlets has again donated a beautiful large tote bag for us to put the donations we’ve received from a variety of stamp and paper companies. I’ll have a few photos and more information in my next few posts.

Here’s my funny for the day. Even dogs are missing their hair appointments…

That’s it for me for today. Don’t forget to check out our classes for Sept/Oct. We have a great variety of classes with something for everyone.  Get a jump on your Halloween and fall cards and maybe find some ideas for Christmas too  Almost all classes are both in-store and on ZOOM. Have a great fall week everyone and above all, Stay Safe.
