Wednesday Whimsy’s

I missed Wednesday’s FB video but I have it for you  HERE.

We’ve started posting the Wednesday and Saturday videos on our YouTube channel it makes watching the videos a whole lot easier.  Wednesday's wasn't posted as of Thursday morning but I'm sure it will show up soon.

I visited the store Tuesday and took some pictures. I had to reacquaint myself with many things that had been moved, added or reconfigured. Here's what I can share with you. First is a portion of our Mixed Media section.

We've moved Reverse Confetti to one of the towers at the back of the store. The samples are such fun!

We're getting ready for Christmas! I've been looking for a card or two to copy, um, inspire, yeah inspire me for this year's Christmas cards. I haven't found one yet so I've been checking out many of our company's new releases. We have a great collection of Simple Stories latest release including papers in multiple sizes, ephemera, chipboard and open stock.

Open stock on the Simple Stories 12X12 papers.

The full 12X12 collection along with a sticker sheet.

A full 4 page kit!

We're also starting to build our larger Christmas display opposite the end of the front register. We have dies, stamps and stencils from a variety of companies and are adding to it on a daily basis.

We have a nice display of these Whipper Snapper sentiment stamps. We have some nice snarky ones but we also have several stamps for your long distance and time sentiments.

Pink Fresh has been insanely popular and deservedly so. Here is their display in the store and close ups on two of our samples.

You will see in the video Charlene's samples of a Whimsy covered bridge stamp done in pencils. Here is our Polychromos display. You can build your collection of these creamy colorful pencils at your own pace.

Sharon has her lemon/teal display right as your come in and I couldn't resist these two cards on display there. I love this open box design from MFT and the gnomes and flowers make a great design. A great detailed die goes with an inky background.

We've also highlighted layered flower stamps and here are examples of Altenew's offering. (My next project!)

The front table display.  It looks like butterflies are the theme of the summer.

Sharon mentioned the small individually packaged brushes in one of her videos. Here they are along with the 'Chucky' tools we have. I HIGHLY recommend these tools. They are great for getting even coverage when using your Misti and saves your wrists and heals of your hands. We made a small change to our front display and moved the Pretty Pink Posh turner to the front right next to the Chuckies.

Halloween is before Christmas and we're gearing up for it too! Alison has created a great project for your Halloween display that will also be a new class. I'll be adding a description later on Thursday and Sharon will add the dates as soon as she can.

Maker Mania kits have gone out and we've gotten some great responses from those who have received their boxes on how great the papers and other design elements are. So I added these photos from this tower at there rear of the store. 49th and Market and style similar companies and accessories are grouped together here.

Spellbinders has some of our favorite dies and now stamps. Classic nested shapes and great dimensional flowers along with more detailed designs are featured on our Spellbinders wall.

That's about it for me today. I'm loving the cooler weather (finally). Here is my funny for today.

Have a great weekend and week everyone. I'll see you again with Saturday's video. Sharon will be opening several new boxes, woo hoo! Stay Safe everyone!
