How are you starting the New Year?

We're starting the New Year with a Saturday Facebook Video from  Sharon. You can find it HERE. Sharon has already finished inventory and I'm amazed at how quickly she got it done. Back in the day we would work with all hands on deck for a week to get everything counted and done. We would have reams and reams of calculator tape totaling up every piece of paper and embellishment. The stamps were the easy part!

How did you like that Altenew layered stencil? I thought it was beautiful. I did layered stencil  cards for Christmas and they came out really nice. Give one of the companies that are now starting to create these fun stencils a try. Lawn Fawn, Taylored Expressions along with Altenew and probably more I haven't seen yet are getting on the layered stencil bandwagon. Sharon has a nice selection.

I was hoping to include a photo of a card or two Sharon talks about and began during the video. She said she would post to Facebook but unfortunately they weren't posted when I was ready to post this. I will post on Wednesday if Sharon shares on FB.

We have the domino effect going on in our house. We have our bathroom remodel scheduled for March so we need to clean out the living, dining and kitchen. We are extending the floors into the living and dining room, hence the additional moving. The problem is I do my crafting on the dining room table. Mind you I have major supply storage in our spare bedroom, the basement AND the dining room. Second problem, our basement looks like something out of Hoarders. I started on Friday attacking the pile that is our basement. I got a lot done and will do more this coming week and then I'll move all my dining room, AKA Buffalo Stamps and Stuff East to the basement and get it ready to actually do my scrapbookimg/card making there. I've come across a ton of stuff I loved back in the day that doesn't work anymore and projects I forgot I started and some I finished.

Here is one of the projects. I loved these Prima paper doll stamps when they came out about 7 or 8 years ago. I decided to make one for each of my daughter's friend group. Needless to say, I didn't finish them all let alone give to Lex to give to her friends. I couldn't bear to throw these out yesterday. They're staying!

Back to the kitchen, we've picked out all our appliances. Our Roomba is very similar to this one, only ours is white with black spots...

That's it for me for today. I've got a great Valentine's class coming up for those of you who love Lawn Fawn. I hope you'll join me for any of my classes or for any of the fabulous classes we have coming up. So, until I see you, STAY SAFE and GO BILLS!
