Photos, Photos, Photos, Oh My!

Now that we are posting FB videos on our YouTube channel my posts should be devoted to store news, class samples and photos of new product vs. my ramblings. We’ll compromise. It finally dawned on me how I could send you new product photos without the FB video - screen shots! So today I have LOTS of photos from Saturday’s video.

Sharon is in Syracuse visiting Kaitlyn, who is our videographer, and her husband Dave. In the video, Mark can be heard in the background and of course, Sadie snoring. I will send a prompt to Jess to post the video but until then here are a ‘few’ photos of what Sharon shared.

First up are new Photo Play stamp and die sets. This first is an alphabet die with a university style

This was a little hard to see at first. The card sample on the back of the stamp package helps a lot. This is looking down at two hands as they hold cups of coffee. The stamp set gives you options for decorating the top of your coffee, foam, etc.

Next is a cute, easy to color, fun stamp reminding us to slow down.

Mother’s Day is next month and this is a versatile set that can be used for the day and for other occasions.

There is also a texture plate from Photo Play.

Next up are several 12X12 paper collections from 49th and Market. As Sharon says in the video, we also carry a large selection of open stock of these papers along with rub-ons, Washi tape, ephemera and die cuts. This line is one of the most popular in the papercrafting world today. They are beautiful papers at a thicker weight with equally beautiful double sides.

Next up is a demo Sharon wanted to share. We carry these beautiful photo transparencies of vintage greeting cards. Sharon shares a technique for adding sparkle and using these images for your cards.

In the following photos Sharon takes an adhesive glitter sheet, combining with a transparency and then mounting both on a card base with a decorative frame. First up is one version of the finished card front.

Sharon then shows how with a slight change you can ‘pop-up’ your card. The second image shows all three versions using the same transparency with the glitter with the last one being backed on colored paper (yellow) instead of white and with a white frame.

Here Sharon is pulling the glitter sheet away from its paper backing.

Here Sharon is attaching her transparency to the glitter adhesive sheet. It will be trimmed down to fit on her card.

To give her card extra pop, Sharon used Scrapbook Adhesives foam tape to the frame.

Wasting nothing, Sharon shows you you can even use the trimmed off pieces of glitter/transparency as a trim/highlight on other cards. Sharon attached with Nuvo liquid glue as it dries clear and can’t be seen under the glitter.

Lastly here is a small selection of some of the vintage transparency sheets we have.

My funny is how I feel about cooking…Considering my kitchen is almost done, I might have to change my tune!

Whew! That was a lot of photos. I hope you’ll check out our YouTube channel for the full video. Until next week, happy crafting and as numbers go up, again, Stay Safe.
