Happy Monday Everyone!
What a beautiful morning it is today after a stormy and rainy weekend! It is always helpful to wake up on a Monday morning with the sun shining outside.
This week I am using a new stamp set from Photo Play called Catch a Falling Star which features several adorable mice on clouds with the moon and stars. Several sentiments are included in the set that can be used for graduation, baby, or every day.
I made a mini slimline card (6 1/4"x3 1/4") and stenciled stars, also a stencil from Photo Play, onto watercolor paper. I used a mini clouds embossing folder on the top and bottom strips of blue paper to help give it that "starry sky" effect. I shaded the embossed clouds with white ink to help give them dimension.
Supplies:
--Photo Play: Catch a Falling Star stamp set and Shooting Stars stencil
--Spellbinders: Head in the Clouds embossing folder
--Glossy Accents, Nuvo Glitter pen
--Hero Arts Unicorn White ink pad; light and medium yellow distress inks
--Copics: B0000,000,91,93,95; R20; Y11,13,15,17,18; 0 colorless blender
I hope that everyone has a very crafty week!--Kim
