Not only is Sharon liking these Wednesday night videos, I am too! It seems so relaxing all around. I’ll second Kim’s and Sharon's appreciation for everyone who participated in this past Sunday’s Garage Sale. It was great to see so many familiar faces getting so many great deals. We’re hoping to do it again in September.
NOTES: there will be no video on Saturday. Instead, we will be doing one at 2:00pm on Friday. Sharon is off on Saturday with NO PLANS! I dare her! I’m very curious to see if she can spend a Saturday lounging in the backyard with a book. The store is closed Sunday and Monday for the July 4th holiday. We will be open on Satuday.
On to Wednesday’s video. We’re starting with a quick review of Kim’s cards. She went out of the box, for her, on her ‘Hi’ card. The floral card is Avery Elle’s ranunculus layered stamp. Kim said it was easy to use. She also used the new Oh Loopy die from Mama Elephant.

Next up are the two new collections from Graphic 45. I only have this one photo of the Halloween collection I hope to have more after Friday’s video The Christmas collection is gorgeous! I plan on doing one of my 3-D pages using the cover sheet.
Sharon previewed Spellbinders Winter Catalog. She was able to order from the first thirty pages of this 60 page catalog, for now. I think I’ve found my Christmas card in the mailbox die. Along with stamps and regular dies, there are many foil plates. Sharon spent a portion of her video showing how to double foil images. It was too difficult to try and screen shot and explain although the process itself is not difficult. I recommend you check out the video on YouTube if you want to check out her steps. I’m going to focus on posting the cards, products and combos in this post. We're starting with the cover of the catalog. Not all of the product you may see here is available right now. Sharon tries to focus on what she's been able to order so far.
Here is a sampling of some of the cards she made in an on-line class with Spellbinders. I'll talk about some of these further down in the post.
Another close-up of the cards Sharon has made. The comments during the video indicate the mailbox and cardinal were very popular. In the background you can see several of the samples Sharon shared talking about foiling and using both the image and the part you pull off. Sharon talked about how both can be used.
This is the Mailbox die along with the cardinal and one of the floral flourish die sets. The sentiment is also a die, I believe.
Here is the page that features samples using the mailbox die along with a foil sentiment set.
Two sample cards featuring the flower flourish dies, a new embossing folder and sentiment dies.
The die for these bold sentiments.
More samples
This is a little different. The tree shown here will be in the next set of product Sharon will be able to order. It's already a favorite of several video viewers.
Hot foil sentiments that you saw on the front of several of the mailbox samples above.
This is another page of product that we don't have access to yet. but we love the wreath and the skates!
One of Sharon's favorite samples that used foil plates, dies and stamps.
Another page from the catalog. We love this sentiment.
This card was very popular it was made by Mona. The die is below and Sharon really liked the 'Merry Christmas' die.
This is a fun die that can be used several ways. These large size food items, pretzel, hot dog, donut, pizza and coffee cup show up on top of a camper, and on gift tags..
Here are some samples.
Here is the camper die.
This camper die also has a little secret when you press under the awning...Press the button and the door window lights up behind the wreath! When Mona made this card she said the light was the easiest part!
On the instructions for this camper die card you have a vey sparkly pretzel. That pizza slice looks good!
Next are more samples and product using different foiling options. Again, watch the video on YouTube to get the best description of Sharon's foiling techniques.
Another page from the catalog. More feathered friends are on the way!
Spellbinders even has gnomes! They're everywhere!
The page featuring all the foil colors Spellbinders offers. Sharon ordered a selection and restocked gold, both mat an shiny.
My last page from catalog features the dancing leg die that we shared a few posts back. Kim has done several cards with this die concept, the legs swing left and right. These are the Christmas dies. There is a Santa, reindeer and a snowman. We think Kim will be looking at these, maybe a class?
More new product and re-stocks. New foils are in. I think these are glimmer type foils.
Diecut'N Bond is back!
We also have more 3-D Toppers in. I'd love to see how these gnomes come out.
My best friend's husband had some difficult surgery last week and I know how frazzled she has been between Covid, her husband, who is a terrible patient at best, and relatives coming in to offer 'support', so I thought I'd send her a nice cuppa.
That's it for today. I'll be back after Friday's video. Have a great July 4th weekend if you don't check in until next week. Be Safe, especially with those fireworks.
