One post for two videos today. Mona did a video on Friday and I was not able to watch it then or since so I have no photos except for the one card picture below. Saturday morning Sharon had a product demo and more new product for the store. Jess’s internet was down until Saturday evening so some of the products might not be in the store until her internet is back and she has a chance to update.
Let’s get started! Here are the two cards Mona created in her video. The dies are from Hero and Sharon is putting in her order early this week. If you are interested, contact the store right away to make sure you get yours.
There are several 'Get Well' themed dies. There is a tissue box, also a script 'get well' and a bowl of soup.
This is a mug of beer or just a regular mug you can use for coffee, hot chocolate, whatever. It's also perfect for a shaker.
More dies including Ice cream and flip flops.
Next up is a small release from Hero Arts. First up is the layered Ornament die. (That line down the center is just the tape holding them all in place as they were taken out of the packaging).
Next up is Spellbinders, yes, more! It was hard to get a photo because Sharon flipped right through these. These are alphabet dies that can be stitched but can be used even if you don't. Sharon has two full alphabet sets that normally retail for $149. 99. Sharon is selling a full set for $114.99. Contact the store to reserve yours.
Next up is Simple Stories. Basically, what is old is new again. As an old scrapbooker, I remember when they created photo templates you could use to create a layout. Simple Stories has reimagined those design templates with creative add-ons. There are various sized templates, but our sample's focus is on a four photo layout.
There are themed die cut packages you can use to embellish your basic layout. This one is a princess/fantasy/Disney inspired set.
Basically, add your photos and arrange your die cuts in a way that is pleasing to you and suits your layout's theme. Don't forget to journal!
Stampendous has this fun new stamp set and another. This stamp set is unique in that the snowman stamp is an outline. You can place him on your Misti or block and manipulate his body to whatever shape you'd like. Behind the Snowman stamp you can see their Pie set, Baked with Love.
Here you see the outline stamp. Next, let's change him up!
Last for Stampendous is their Holiday Collection of glitters!
How about some card samples? I these first ones are Lawn Fawn.
These next two are new, coming soon, Sizzix embossing folders, dies and stamps.
This step die is from Dare 2B Artzy.
This is an IO die but we want to show you the background paper from IO which is new. A quick card.
First up is silver then gold.
You can see the pearl above the silver and the puffy white at the bottom.
Next up is 'Tacky When Dry Gel Medium. Sharon wanted to experiment and see if this would work with foil. She schmeared this on a 'Merry Christmas' stencil then when dried, added Deco Foil over the top and burnished. This is Deco foil NOT the hot plate foil. Sharon is going to do more experimentation and will be back with the results on Wednesday.
These are the Majestic Watercolor class samples from Penny Black. There is NO coloring. These are pre-printed images on Majestic watercolor paper.
There is also a class coming featuring these large dies from Penny Black. Details will be coming in August.
A little story from the Way Back Machine. In the early 90's we lived in Louisville, Kentucky. Next to Billy Ray Cyrus's mullet and 'Achy Breaky Heart' the biggest thing in Country Music was this guy. It only took me 25 plus years to see him live in concert. He.Was.Worth.the.Wait!
My funny for the day is perfect for the day after Garth!
That’s it for me for this past week. I’m beginning my week with the last day of the Tour de France and the end of my three week ‘vacation’ in France. My daughter is in Italy and I’ll share a photo or two of how she spent her first day at the end of my Wednesday post. Until then, stay crafty and most of all Stay Safe!
