Happy Monday!
It is a very happy Monday since the Bills played a great game yesterday! I was able to work on my new classes during the game and I decided on the perfect card for this week's blog. One of my favorite things about fall is watching the leaves change. So, for this week, I used the Layered Foliage stencil from Pretty Pink Posh.
I used darker shades of red, orange, yellow, and green distress ink for the leaves. I used Cosmic Shimmer Sparkle Texture paste in Warm Gold for the leaf stems. I stamped my sentiment with Delicata Gold Glitz ink and then adhered it to a strip of vellum. This is such a great stencil!
After I posted last week's card (10/3/22), I felt like something was not right with the card. I decided that the sentiment got lost with the patterned paper that I chose, so I made some changes! I used the newly released Sizzix (Tim Holtz) Tree Rings 3D embossing folder with some kraft paper. Instead of using a die-cut sentiment, I found a perfect sentiment ribbon from the new Tim Holtz holiday ephemera pack!
Supplies used:
-Pretty Pink Posh Layered Foliage Stencil
--Cosmic Shimmer Sparkle Texture Paste Warm Gold
--Delicata Gold Glitz ink
I hope that everyone has a very crafty week!--Kim
