Happy New Year!

After a amazing, slightly bizarre, VERY snowy week, we are slowly getting back to normal and gearing up for a new year. We have some exciting news about our BSS family and information on new product,  classes and events.

First, a store update. Sharon made it into the store on Wednesday and had to shovel to actually reach the door! Inventory is almost done and we’re putting all our Christmas stock on sale the next two weeks. Moving on to new product.

First up are new items from MFT. Here is their new ‘CHEERS’ stamp set with great follow-up lines. Next is this fun new set with sentiments for your cards and envelopes.

This die set can create a variety of cards that can hold a new way give a money gift. Pair it with two different plastic pouches and you have a unique way to present money.

Here is one way. Use this pouch that we’ve used in the past to hold a Chapstick to hold a rolled up bill of your chosen denomination. The next die set creates a gas pump and a fuel gauge. Along with the adjoining stamp set you can create a gas gift card and more.

Sizzix is up next with a new journal die. This is one of their thicker platform dies. NOTE: this die will not fit in all die cut machines. Check before you purchase.

New thin dies from Sizzix. Check out the photo on the back of each die to see what the figures look like  when assembled.

Easter? Too soon?

Spring sprigs.

Fun images - a typewriter, tea cup and a spool of thread.

Last from Sizzix, 3D Textured Impressions.

A few new things from Spellbinders, a raindrop 3D folder.

Thin plastic shims. When you need just a touch more pressure for your dies or embossing folders.

A new foiling plate with a great choice of sentiments..

The beginners sealing wax kit from Spellbinders.

You get a stand that you set a tea light under, a wax seal with handle, a handled melting pot and a good amount of gold colored wax disks.

Also from Spellbinders, a variety of individual wax seals and new dies featuring umbrellas in several sizes to go along with that rain drop folder.

We have five new Photoplay theme based collections, St.Patrick’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Winter Fun, Gamer (great for teenage boys, and girls, cards and layouts), and cruise.

New markers - we have paint markers, art markers and watercolor markers. None of these are alcohol based markers.

New-Old hole punches. When you have to have 50 little circles, an inch or less, die cutting can be realllllyyyy time consuming. Try a little punch 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 inch and a new snow flake punch.

Stamperia has some new ephemera, paints, rice paper adhesive and more! Check them out

We have limited space for one of everyone’s favorite crafting tasks, organization. We have two new storage options. The first has plastic compartments that can fit your basic kit items and offers you lots of other options.

This container holds 6X6 pads.

I mentioned that we have some family news in my intro. Sharon and Mark welcomed a new grandchild over the holiday, a grandson, Manuel, Manny for short. Please join us in wishing Kaitlyn, Dave and Manny your best. Maker Mania kits will be assembled this week and we are prepping for our annual Super Bowl party next month. Saturday we hope to update you on new classes for the new year. I couldn’t resist adding my snow photos to the millions already posted!

My last funny for 2022. I have the feeling I’m going to start out 2023 the same way…

That’s all for my last blog post of 2022. Everyone at Buffalo Stamps and Stuff want to thank you all for your support of our store and being a member of our store family and wish you all a healthy, happy, prosperous, and peaceful 2023, Stay Safe and Stay Well. DM
