Show and Tell and then some!

Hey! Wasn’t I just here yesterday? I missed the live this morning (Saturday) but managed to check it out shortly after Sharon finished. We have lots of new product and Sharon demoed a new product from Spellbinders that we previewed in my last post. Let’s get started with Newton’s Nook. Sharon promised samples on Wednesday and here they are. NN is great if you love to color cute images especially of cats and dogs.

Mona accepted Sharon's diorama card challenge and created this card using this Honey Bee die set.

Lori created this lovely card with Lovely Layers: Dogwood blooms from Honey Bee.

Featuring this Mr. Mark card from Creativation again. We should be getting our order from Altenew shortly and Sharon promises a lot of samples in various colors.

Two lovely cards using Honey Bee's Lovely Layers: Spring Greenery die set.

Sharon did a full demo on using Spellbinders new BestPress letterpress tool. Used with your die cut machine you can create letterpress images. Check out this video on our YouTube channel when posted. The BestPress machine is $79. Those pre-ordering will also receive a 10% discount on papers, dies and inks used with the BestPress system. Call the store for details and to pre-order.

A page from the catalog of BestPress accessories, dies, papers and inks.

We have lots of new Elizabeth Craft stamps and dies. Lucia, they are calling your name! This first set creates a pocket with lots of add-ons.

This one has all the months of the year along with tags, tickets and more.

Coordinating stamps or use as you choose.

It seems like Bees are the insect of spring and summer for many of our favorite companies.

There is another new die, flourishes.

Pink Fresh is next with new rolls of Washi tape that coordinate with stamp, die and stencil sets. You can color your images, ink them with stencils or skip the coloring all together by using the coordinating Washi rolls. We have about 4-5 new designs. this first fruit design is my favorite. I've tried to show the colored image of each one so you get the idea of what the stamp/stencil/tape will look like.

Sharon illustrated how the Washi looked on vellum as compared to white cardstock. She also gave a quick tutorial on how to peel your tape off and position it on a strip of 4 1/4 X 11 so the die will fit. First, use a ruler or a bone folder to make pulling off your strip easier. Before you place it on the paper, check the back of the die package to line up the Washi images. with the die This will help you to optimize the use of your die. You can get approximately 40 full strips out of a roll and Sharon recommends you cut as many as you can and mount them on paper. Washi adhesive will evenly become stickier and harder to pull off full images without tearing. You can store these full sheets for future use.

The Washi is on the left and the cardstock is on the right.

Here Sharon is taking advantage of these full sheets as she cuts out the individual images.

Pink Fresh also has two new dies.

That's it for new products. Next are several new card classes. First is a new Fun Fold Birthday Card class from Lori.

Kim has a new Penny Black Bear class.

Sharon has her Layout Class kits ready.

Sharon is doing this small portfolio booklet.

A new Avery Elle class.

In this class you will get the W+9 stamp with this class.

If you took the Glimmer class Sharon offered last month, this is the next step. It's Glimmer II.

Vellum Cards with Donna.

Sharon is doing this class again. It's one stamp done four ways.

I showed this class in my last post. It's the Penny Back die cut class.

That's it for today. Here's my Easter funny for you all. Have a blessed holiday.

There is a new promotion from Lawn Fawn that will be released on Monday. I will post details and Sharon will send out an email. I'll be back after Wednesday's video with more new stuff and a technique or two. Until then get crafty and stay safe.
