I'm dating myself with that title. How many of you recognize the lyrics of this summertime song from 60's, 70's? My point is it's official, Summer is here! The kids are out of school, we've had our first heat wave and we're past the 4th of July. Buffalo Stamps and Stuff has an abbreviated summer hours schedule on Saturdays to take note of. We close at 3:00 pm on Saturdays in July and August. Another PSA - our Garage Sale is scheduled for August 10th at St. John's Lutheran church in Williamsville from 10-1. If you want to purge some of your supplies and would like a table, call the store to sign up. For those of you who are looking forward to snagging some bargains (and I assure you, there will be bargains!) all purchases are CASH ONLY.
On to new product from this past week. We're starting with Waffle Flower's Postage Stamp series. They have released new stencils an a coordinating stamp. We've also gotten in the beach stencil that was so popular when we first got it in. I'm starting with a reminder of this fun die set that creates a card sized tote that can be filled with lots of different things. Below is a baby bag and a July4th tote. The stamp in the first photo goes with a beach tote theme.
We also have this stamp back in stock. These floral and leaf silhouettes are perfect for the postage stamp stencil and die. New is the Christmas/Holiday stamp set next to it and the generic postage stamp set next to it.
We also have this Christmas set that can be used either on the front or inside your holiday cards.
Because it was a slow week for deliveries, Sharon is going to demonstrate how these stencils from Waffle Flower work. Each stencil has a registration mark letting you know if it's the first, second, third, etc.
We have three new holiday stencil sets, Gingerbread, Snowmen and Poinsettia.
If you have a stenciling grip mat it makes this process a little easier, but honestly, a few pieces of Washi tape or your favorite low tack tape works just as well.
Sharon wanted to experiment and chose a non-traditional color scheme for her poinsettia stencils. She has light, medium and dark inks in lavender. You can see her progression in the next few photos.
Sharon has added two greens for the leaves. She also utilizes a smaller brush to add the darkest color in specific spots to help create depth.
This finished colored piece will be going home and turned into a card which we will share next week.
Next up is Gina K. We've gotten in the Magnetic Platform Set of plates for Gina's Intra machine. We will be getting the machine itself in in a few weeks.
We also have this stamp set which is great for all of us who make interactive cards that need a little direction to them like, 'Pull Here' or an arrow to tell the recipient which way to turn a wheel.

Lastly, we have a GREAT deal on layered dies by Tonic. You have two options. We have prepackaged a set of eight, four nested straight edge and four nested scalloped edge of circle, oval, square and rectangle for $86.99. That breaks down to a little over $10 per nested set vs. at least $17.50 per set. We also have a packaged set of straight edge and scalloped edge of the square dies. You can see how many dies are in a single package - 10 dies in each individual package!

Have a cool week everyone. I have a clean dining room! but my basement leaves a lot to be desired! I plan on spending sizable time down there out of the heat and pricing stuff for the garage sale an finally using all the stamps and dies I haven't been able to say no to lately.
