Are you ready for Halloween?

It's time to watch out for things that go bump in the night. First, we have some new supplies and inspiration from both Sharon and Mona. We're starting with fall themes. Sharon wanted to experiment with a variety of backgrounds created with sprays and ink.

These are the inks that Sharon used.
In addition to her backgrounds (which we'll see the result of shortly) Sharon used the next two die sets from Penny Black. This fern stems and the fancy layered oval.

Sharon used both the die cut out and the negative space as a stencil for her card.
Also, Sharon used this leaf die with the distressed inks.

Sharon added a piece of embossed white cardstock to the bottom half of the card,

To help define the embossed edge Sharon inked a leftover edge of a scrap paper and then added it to top edge of her embossed piece. She cut off any portion that hung over the edges.

In another sample Sharon used the large leaf die along with several other smaller leaf dies along with another inked background.

Sharon used this Waffle Flower Autumn die.
Sharon's finished samples shared on Friday.

Mona's card from Friday. The dies for this cutie come from Waffle Flower.

Sharon shared the dies she used above and in her card designs.

Hero is debuting a new collection from Ralph Tyndall. He is a new creator with a YouTube channel where he posts lots of card designs and their creation. This one is a game controller. It has a matching stamp set.
Last are three card samples from Sharon.
I'm back home for a few weeks but I'll be on the road again in mid November. It's been a busy fall!. Here's my funny for today. A great nod to our favorite cartoons!
We hit the trifecta today. The Bills, Browns and Patriots all won! Wish I could say the same about our Yankees. We were lucky enough to be at the game in Cleveland when they won the pennant. It was such fun! Keep your fingers crossed for Monday night. In the mean time get your crafty on and above all - Stay Safe!
