This past weekend we celebrated the life and legacy our dear friend. Many of us are still in a state of shock and trying to cope with her passing. We were very grateful that Sharon's funeral mass was streamed live so that so many of her friends could attend and honor her life.
The family hosted a luncheon after the service and Sharon's sisters-in-law handed out a sheet of paper to each table and asked everyone to list a word that described Sharon. We then went from table to table reading our lists to the rest of the room. Not surprisingly, many lists had the same words. One word that I believe every table listed was creative. The list below was our list from the 'store' table. The words started a collection of memory sharing throughout the room. The overwhelming sentiment expressed in everyone's memories of Sharon was the caring and loving personality that dominated her work world and her family life. It was a wonderful way to come together to share memories of the mother, grandmother, sister-in-law, and friend Sharon was to us all.
An e-mail went out on Sunday from Jess announcing a fundraiser from Sharon's granddaughters, Adalyn and Brianna, for the American Heart Association in their grandmother's memory. I'll add a link below:
It will be awhile before we have definitive information on the future of Buffalo Stamps and Stuff. Be assured we will update our friends and customers as soon as we know more. Keep Sharon's spirit alive by continuing your own creative journey and above all, Stay Safe.
