Purge and other Stories

The only problem with shopping at BSS is that you end up accumulating so much Stuff (hence the name) that you run out of space to store all your goodies. After 20+. years I'm at that point and way past it. Lately, I've been feeling the 'Urge to Purge'. I didn't make it to the store this past weekend and to be honest I'm so full of stuff, I need to make some space. So along with the urge to purge comes the urge to organize. Last summer we made the pilgrimage to Pittsburgh to go to IKEA. Several hundred dollars and multiple put-together furniture boxes later, I had a new storage system for my stamps, dies, paper and more. It also enabled me to move all my stuff to the basement and create my very own 'Craft Cave'.

What does this all have to do with the store? Did you know we also sell many of our card samples? Check out the spin rack over near the wall opposite the register. 

One of the other organizational purges created was a storage system for all the cards I've created over the years. I created a Birthday/Events calendar list so I know who has an upcoming event so my card gets sent out on time. 

That's about it for me for today. I have more purging and organizing to do and oh, don't forget the shredding! That's a whole other post! The signs for Niagara Chocolates are popping up all over town to remind me of my addiction to chocolate! I may have to make an Easter basket just for myself, hence my funny for today.

Check out the store this week and weekend. I have come to the realization that I need inside sentiments for almost every occasion. That will help me to a better job of selective shopping versus the Hungry Hippo style of shopping I usually do! Take care everyone, stay crafty and above all Stay Safe.
