WELCOME TO THE BUFFALO STAMPS AND STUFF MONDAY IDEA.
Just could not let July get away without a Christmas card in July.
I made a Rocker card, two actually, one in traditional colors and one not-so-traditional colors.
A Rocker card actually rocks back and forth. It is simply made with a circle.
I cut this one with my Grand Caliber, but you could use a circle cutter, a plate, or
any other round form you have. This card is a chocolate brown textured card stock cut in a 7" circle.
I then used the Marianne Design scalloped circle, a smaller punched scalloped circle (Marvy), and finally a smaller punched plain circle (Marvy). All designer paper is Bo Bunny, Snowflake Collection 6x6 stack. Punched pine (Martha Stewart) and glued around the center circle.
The deer is from the Tim Holtz Collection by Sizzix (656923). So is the ticket from Tim, Stamper's Anonymous (Odds and Ends CMS 100). The swirl is cut from White glitter paper and it's
a Cheery Lynn die, but can't find the packaging, will try to find it and add it later.
a smaller punched (Marvy)
Snowflakes are two punches glued together and Kaiser Rhinestones added to the centers.
Used Vintage photo distress ink on the sentiment.
Traditional colors. Stamp is Penny Black Cling, Nature's Best (40-076) I cute the leaves out at the bottom and mounted on green card stock. Clouds are made by ripping a paper towel and using the
Ranger sponge tool to add Broken China distress ink, making quick swipes from the paper towel to the image. Added a Martha Stewart lace border, ribbon and pearls. Star Dust Stickles for the snow.
These Rocker cards are fun and there are lots of possibilities, and fit in a 5x7 envelope.
Thanks for stopping by today.
Have a great week.

I am new to stamping/scrapbooking/
card making as well as new to Buffalo Stamps & Stuff. The number of ideas and plans that are generated by the team is outstanding!
Thank you for adding such a fun activity to my life!
