BSS MONDAY IDEA - PULL TAB ZIPPER LIKE DIE

Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff Monday Idea.

 

Today, we are going to take a look at the new Jillian {die}signs, by Spellbinders, that is a Pull Tab, zipper like die that allows you to place words, or even a gift, like a gift card or money

behind the zipper like opening, so that when the receiver pulls open the tab, the message or gift is exposed.  If you went to the latest Stamp Camp, you made a card using this fantastic die and

you already know how wonderful it is, but for those of you who didn't, let's take a look!

 

OK, there were absolutely no instructions with the die, so here is what I did.

Ran the die through my cutting machine where I wanted it on the front of my card.

I then adhered at the edges only to another piece of

card stock.  I would then adhere this to a card blank and decorate.

For this illustration, I have stamped a message inside.

 

Here it has money enclosed.

And finally, a gift card is enclosed.

 

 

This card is 5x7 and the die fits across, or you could use

the zipper like die going the long way on the card also.

Money, Money (2012-013)

 

This card is smaller, 41/4x51/2.

I placed the die on the paper where I wanted it, with some of the

die going over the edge.

Rhinestone centers.

 

This die will come in handy for birthdays, and any occasion when you

want to give a little lift with a sentiment, or a small gift.
