Hi friends. Well today is the first day I have had a land line and internet since Saturday. Since our provider was on strike, they couldn't fix it until today when they finally came back to work. And now tonight, the internet goes in and out. Maybe time to change to a cable hookup!
Anyway, my post for my local stamp store, Buffalo Stamps and Stuff which I normally post on Mondays is just getting posted now.
So, the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff idea for this week is
"Let's make a scene!
Here is a close-up of the scene I created.
This is the card.
Stamps - Woodland Friends - Stampendous (CRS5087)
The stamp set includes a free stencil, which I used to
make the tree, and leaves.
Dies - Woodland Friends - Stampendous (DCS5087)
I made a long card 8 x 4 1/4 inches
Using the stencil, I sponged the tree, and leaves
along the left side of a white panel 71/4 x 4 inches.
Sponged in some green grass at the bottom
and some blue in the sky. I used distress inks.
I colored with Copics, then cut out the cute owl and fox.
I adhered the owls body on the tree limb.
and the fox body along the bottom edge of the
panel. I then positioned the heads where I
wanted them with an action wobbler.
Matted the panel onto a piece of black card
to finish.
This is a fun set, and the matching dies are so nice, no
fussy cutting and they cut right to the edge.
Thanks for stopping by today. Better late than never, right!
Have a great week...........
Sue Drees
