Happy Thanksgiving!

Just a quick post to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and letting you know we will be closing early Wednesday at 3:00 pm and we will be closed on Thursday for Thanksgiving. We will be open, regular hours on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

We will also be featuring some fantastic Black Friday specials AND Small Business Saturday specials. Here is a list of those sales.

Don't forget your Holiday Raffle ticket(s)!

We are selling tickets for our Holiday Gift Bag Raffle. If you haven't taken a peak inside this beautiful Vera Bradley bag and scoped out some of the great items we've stuffed in it you are missing a great giveaway! Tickets are $5 ea or 3 for $10. We have chosen our family for the holiday and are still waiting on some specifics but I can give you an introduction.

This year we have chosen a family made up of a 31 year old mother and her 17 month old daughter. Mom was very recently widowed. She is a hard working mom with a full-time job outside of the home and has been trying to cope with the  sudden death of her husband and the added responsibilities his loss has created. She also recently became the primary caregiver for another family member who needs extra support. This woman is the type of person who has always put others first and gone above and beyond in her work as well as her home life. She is alway the one others call on for help and she has always answered those calls with no hesitation and generosity of spirit and time. Now she is the one who needs some help this holiday season.

We  do not have gift list as of yet but we were thinking that donations in the form of gift cards that can be used not only now but in future months would be a great help. No amount is too small and a little can go a long way. A variety of cards would be great - groceries, gas, Target, Walmart, Carter's Baby or Baby USA are some ideas. As always, we will also use the proceeds from our Gift Bag Raffle for this deserving family. Please help us make this dificult holiday season a little brighter for this young woman and her family. We are selling tickets at the register and will gratefully accept any support you care to give.
