Welcome to the Buffalo Stamps and Stuff IDEA.
When I first saw this die a couple of weeks ago and purchased
it at the store, I was so excited to make a card. It's such
a fun die and so many possibilities for decorating it.
I took the long road with this card, and paper pieced many
of the elements on the die, but you could just as easily
color. Here is my take on this fun die.
Mirror card is so hard to photograph!
Close up of die
Die- Creative Expressions (CEDPC1060) Champagne Celebration Edger
The die is an edge die. It doesn't cut all the way out..
I cut the die from a piece of white glitter card stock.
I pieced the bow with gold glitter card stock
The leaves with green glitter cardstock
The stars with gold mirror card stock.
The cut out portion of the die I placed the card stock behind
the cutout. The raised part, I paper pieced.
I taped clear acetate and silver holographic card stock behind
the pretty glasses to look like bubbly champagne
I sponged the edge of the glitter paper that the die was cut
from with a combination of blue and green ink to get the aqua color
Using Aqua card stock, I ran through a Crafters Companion
Embossing folder, I mounted the whole piece with foam tape onto
the aqua piece.
Then that went onto a Gold mirror mat onto a 5x7 white card base.
The inside
For the inside I stamped the words Time to celebrate (penny Black clear set 30-286 Heartfelt) in gold
embossing powder and made a pretty edge with a piece of the embossed aqua paper
and gold mirror card stock.
It's so pretty in person, and it will be in the store if you want to check it out.
Thanks for stopping by today., Have a great week. Until later.....
