Next up, Stamp Camp in the beginning of August. Here is a sneak preview. We've been kitting all week and will have everything ready for you. Stamp Camp is $50 and includes a $15 gift certificate to be used on the stamps and dies you use for these cards. Check the website for the dates and times of each session.
Next up is a new company, Colorado Craft Company. First, I'm so happy to see NEW stamp companies! As you can see, these stamps have a unique style, reminiscent of Power Poppy. They also show people at a unique angle, NO FACES! They have a wide variety of subjects, some we haven't seen, and a cheeky image or two. Check these out the next time you're in the store.
Getting a jump on Fall and Winter are these stamps from PhotoPlay - more gnomes!
I love dogs with lights!
Fall papers and more winter/Christmas dogs!
Sizzix is out with a foldable Big Shot! We are retailing for $109.99
Curvy Girl - Love these!
Love the sweetness of the Tiny Townie Collection.
Last up from Stampingbella is this new collection of dogs. Oh, I miss our puppy :(
The good news is that we're dog sitting for Sharon's dog, Sadie, this next week while the Klima's are out of town. Dog hair everywhere! Yay!!(Im serious, we LOVE having Sadie. It gives us our dog fix for the summer!)
Last up, I've found something that's brought organization to my stamps, dies and other supplies. I've been looking for a way to keep track of what I've bought because it's seriously getting out of control! I need something that was easy to use and compatible on multiple platforms (computer/phone/tablet). I'll look at something in the store and wonder if I've already bought it and have no clue. Usually, I end up buying something I already have and passing on something I want or need because I think I already have it. The App is no good if I can't use it while I'm in the store! I looked at some on-line recommendations and started with a data base for organization called Evernote. I looked at some YouTube videos specifically for crafters using Evernote and thought I found something that would work. In a word, NOT! At least not for me. It wasn't user friendly enough.
I mentioned this to Mona and she recommended Airtable. I't great, I'm hooked! It's easy to set up, enter data, modify, add photos (without taking up memory!) and search. I even used it this past week at the store to prevent me from re-buying something. I'll post some photos and describe how I use it more next week. So if you are looking for a computer/pad/phone App for keeping track of your supplies, check out Airtable on YouTube this week before my next post.
Until then, Happy Crafting!
