Garage Sale 101!

We FINALLY have a date for the Garage Sale! SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 15!
Here's a run down of the rules and regs for participating as a seller or a buyer.

SELLERS

1. Registration is now open at the store. You must either register in person or register by phone (Do not leave a message on the machine!) The fee to hold a table/spot is $20 and is due at the time you register OR within one (1) week of your sign-up. Those of you who want to phone and reserve a spot, this gives you time to mail in or drop off your payment. Payment is in CASH or CHECK ONLY! If we do not receive your payment your spot will not be held. (We usually have a wait list, so space is at a premium). We supply a 4ft. table. If you choose to bring your own, you get a 6ft. space. Please let us know your preference when you sign up.

2. When you sign up you will be assigned a 'code' number. This number must be on ALL the items on your table along with the price of the item. If you had a table last year we will make every effort to give you the same number this year. Do not price anything under one dollar $1. If you have small items, consider bagging them together. We will take your phone number when you sign-up and you will be called or texted with your merchandise totals on Tuesday, Sept. 17. Please DO NOT call the store for your totals.

3. All items put up for sale must be stamp/scrapbook related. Please, no other craft supplies such as yarn, wood work or jewelry. 

4. Set-up will begin at 8:30am and the sale will begin at 10:00 am and go to 1 pm. Breakdown and pick up will begin at 1:00 pm for your remaining items. You may come, set up and then leave until pick-up begins. You are not required to remain at your table. Our staff will be monitoring the sale and watching over the tables. The sale is being held at the old Tuesday Morning store at the other end of the plaza, just past the curve where Pet Supplies Plus is located. 

5. If you have specific items you do not want back, let us know at the end of the sale. We will donate them to a local women's charity.  

6. After we've totaled everything up, you will receive a store gift certificate to be used on anything of your choice - No exceptions! The gift certificates have a 3 month expiration date (December 15) and must be used within that time frame - No exceptions.

BUYERS

1. The sale will begin promptly at 10:00 am and go to 1:00 pm.  at the old Tuesday Morning Store front. NO EARLY BIRDS!

2. All garage sale purchases are CASH only! If you purchase regular store merchandise these may be made be make in cash, check or credit card.

3. If you can bring a re-usable shopping bag (or two) for your purchases, it would be greatly appreciated (and easier for you!).


EVERYONE

This is a fun event for us all! You can score some serious bargains at this event. We have seen everything from stamp pads to storage units. We encourage sellers to price their items competitively and clearly. Buyers, please be respectful of the product put out. If you change your mind on something, give it to one of our store personnel or put it back at the table you found it at, don't just toss it anywhere. Lastly, come and have a great time!
