Happy New Year! 2020!

I'm not a number person. Math was never and will never be my strong point, but I have a thing about odd and even numbers. For example, I frustrated my mother to no end when we were choosing a date for my wedding. I refused to be married on an odd number date. My mother did not understand my aversion to odd numbers for important dates. Hence, her anniversary was November 13th. I absolutely cringed at the realization that my parent's anniversary would, at some point, be Friday the 13th! Ugh!! My anniversary, is a calm, tranquil, June 6, 1976 - 6/26/76. So you can see why I'm very happy to leave 2019, ugh! and enter 2020! So, Happy New Year to us all!

I hope you all had a blessed holiday season. We'd like to thank everyone who contributed to our annual adopt a family drive. The family was overwhelmed by everything we were able to give to them and the wish lists were fulfilled and then some.

We also had a winner, winner - sorry no chicken dinner for our basket raffle. Congratulations to Karen Davis, the lucky winner of our raffle basket, or in this case Vera Bradley large tote and bag filled with stamping swag!

We've been doing inventory at a feverish pace so that we can put out new arrivals and prepare for the big craft show in a week or two, Creativations. Sharon will be going out to California for the show and will be ordering all the latest and greatest on display. Until those orders start flowing in, I've got a few last minute items that made it to the store. I'm a little challenged at some, not quite sure what they are but I'll give you a peek. Active Life dies are first up

I'll admit, I'm clueless as to what these next tools are. I see they are called Journal Guides, but I may need a tutorial!

Great new stencils from Echo Park.

Beautiful snowflake dies.

New world release stamp from Hero Arts and one of their fancy scene dies.

We have new card classes coming up. Here's just a sampling...Descriptions, dates and times will be posted very soon!

These are my Christmas cards. I needed to send proof to some friends that I did actually make cards this year even in they didn't get them - yet...You will probably see this post before friends and family get my Christmas/New Year's cards!

Lastly, I took this off Facebook. You won't be able to share from here but I liked the idea.
Have a crafty good week and I'll see you next week.

You made my day! I thought I was the only one who had a “thing” about odd and even numbers. Birthday, Anniversary, any “pick a number” game, whatever - it has to be even. I love writing “2020”.
