Middle of August, what...?

I looked at the calendar as I started this post and realized we are almost half way through August already. How did that happen? It will be a short post today. I haven't gotten any new product photos so I just have Sharon's Facebook Live Video from today. A great basic instructional video on layered stamping. The video begins HERE. Sharon is heading down to the Jersey shore to visit with the grand girls. We may get a video on Saturday or we may not. We'll see. I think she deserves a week off, do you?

I mentioned last week that I bought one of the new Diamond Dots cards. Here it is all finished! It really went very quickly and easily. Although I have to admit to using a magnifying glass!

I do have another card to share. My brother and sister-in-law both retired the end of June. Not much fun during Covid, but it is what it is. I congratulated them at the time but I had an idea for a card. Along with their family and a large group of friends they currently meet for drinks on Friday or Saturday night at my niece's house. She and her husband have a very large backyard, pool, seating area, fire pit and a shed they've converted into an outdoor bar or Tiki hut. They call it Boo Boo Jam. No idea where the name came from but the tradition and location has been passed down from one family or friend to another for the past 20 or so years! That's my back story, here's my card.

Inside it has the word "RELAX" in sunset inked die cut letters to match the front with the sentiment, "Happy Retirement" from the Waffle Flower Happy Retirement stamp set and two Alexandra Renke cocktail die cuts. It was great fun! As is Boo Boo Jam!

Here is my funny for the day. I used to love the Jetsons. I always thought it was the Flintstones of the future. Now it looks like it's our present!
