In these extraordinary times we are doing almost everything differently. We have together, and as individuals, created our new normal. Our new normal at BSS began back in April. We created a new on-line store. We started doing product and technique videos, first once a week, then twice a week. We began the long and painstaking process of creating an entirely new register/inventory/ordering/website reality. We started our first ZOOM classes. There is very little about our 'new' normal that will change and go back to the way we were. We are choosing to embrace it! We may grumble about the challenges some of these changes have brought, but the BSS family is going to look forward and make the best of what we have and are now.
I had no idea all that was coming out of me today! I sat down to start my entry for today knowing we would have a FB video to share and I have lots of photos to share, but I didn't have a 'hook' to my post. Welcome to my new normal!
First up is Sharon's FB video today. You will find it HERE.
I have photos of lots of new product, so lets get to it. I hope you got to check out the FB Live video Sharon did from Jess's house in New Jersey with Brianna and Adalyn. After we checked out the girls favorite's from the box, Elsa and Anna and the soft bunny glow light, Sharon shared these products from Taylored Expressions. When you purchase this aqua see through bag, you get two of the plastic Simple Storage containers with it.
You can buy the plastic storage boxes separtely and use them to store your tools, stamps, dies, etc. For example, the Taylored Expressions blender brushes fit very nicely in these boxes. If you lay them on their sides, alternating head to toe you can fit 8 to maybe ten brushes.
The other box they have is for the Simple Strips that have become so popular. There are two layers of inserts in a box and the simple strips fit on the top layer and you can use the bottom layer for more OR you can use the bottom layer for the backer strips that they have to mat the Simple Strips. Both containers fit into the aqua tote so you can store your tools, etc in the boxes and swap out which ones you need to carry with you to a class or a crop or to 'simply' make your storage options easier.
Next up is MFT's new release. There are some fun things in this one! First up is the Sassy Pants Spooktacular word set that will go with many of the stamp images that will follow and sets you may already have.
Great Spooky House background die.
Friendship/support - and who doesn't like teddy bears.
What a great background die! This would frame any fall sentiment. You could ink up the leaves in fall colors, create a great ombre effect, possibilities....
My FAVORITE! I put my order in for this before Sharon did her order! The phrases are as good as the images.
To add to your stencil collection. Mini Rolling Clouds. These have smaller, puffy edges and are more animated than MFT's other cloud stencils, a cloud stencil for every occasion.
MFT's entry into the new trend of slim line cards.
Next up is Honey Bee from our video a week or so ago. There is so much in these that a close-up does them better justice.
Slim Lines.
Waffle Flower finishes out our new products for today. These are brand new, not even on the floor when I took photos. They are all dies to create stitchable images! You can combine your counted cross stitch skills with your card making skills. If these are not in the on-line store already, they will be very shortly
Two sentiment sets to go along with the stitchable dies

Here's my funny for the day.
That's it for today, happy crafting and Stay Safe!

You made my day! I love the spirit in your quote: “We are choosing to embrace it! We may grumble about the challenges some of these changes have brought, but the BSS family is going to look forward and make the best of what we have and are now.”
