Let's Fall into Buffalo Stamps and Stuff!

Well, not literally of course. Welcome fall and cooler temperatures and the beginning, for some of us, of our prime card making season. Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas are coming. Our card making this time of year can serve a three-fold purpose. First, it gives us goals to accomplish and challenges us to make beautiful cards, scrapbook pages and journals to mark the changes in the seasons. It also gives us another way to connect to those we love and miss while still self isolating or being unable to travel and spend times with friends and family. Lastly, it's a great opportunity to us up our stuff!

I missed Wednesday's FB video and I'll show you why at the end of my post. For now you can find it  HERE.  We had a guest speaker during the video as you will see. We'd love for her to do more 'guest' appearances as she makes some beautiful cards and display pieces and loves Halloween.

I hadn't gotten any new photos from Sharon in a while so I had her quickly Airdrop a few before we left the store on Thursday. I'm hoping there are no repeats and I'll try and take some photos today before I leave the store. Let's see what's new. First up is Elizabeth Crafts with new add-on dies to their journaling series.

I'm not sure if I showed these from Waffle Flower. The stamp set on the left has great 'Friend' sentiments in a variety of fonts. A very versatile set. The die on the right is a continuation of their 'Stitchable' series. There are many out there that like to combine their hobbies. Waffle Flower is all about combining cross stitch with paper crafting in this series. As someone who used to work on perforated paper I'd recommend you use a 110 cardstock to start.

I realized after I uploaded these photos that they were sideways, sorry! These next two are from the slightly warped mine of Tim Holtz and Stampers Anonymous. The stencils below are great for making spooky backgrounds as Alison showed in her portion of today's video.

Sharon introduced this stamp line with their matching paper pad last week and I do not remember the name, sorry. If interested, just call and ask for the stamps that come in the colored acrylic packaging. I think this set is adorable.

Here is my reason for being late with my posts. I'm a new mom! Meet Cooper. He's our new family addition. He's now 10 weeks old and a handful! we can still pick him up with one hand but in the last two days he's learned to climb stairs, hide behind the couch (which is up against a wall) and we're still working on potty training and getting him to stop biting and gnawing on our clothes, shoes, toes and faces!

My funny for the week.

That's it for me for now. I should be able to post Saturday's video later today or Sunday morning. It depends on Cooper as does all things in our house for the forceable future! Happy Crafting and Stay Safe!
