I've got my computer back! My daughter went back to Manhattan on Sunday and while I'm still nervous for her, my husband and I felt a sense of ahhhh... that we've gotten our house, our routine and our aloneness back! Yes, we are strange ducks! Don't get me wrong, we love our daughter and were very happy and relieved to have her here, in Buffalo, during the worst of the initial wave of the virus in NYC, but we had just gotten used to having our house to ourselves again and were settling into a very comfortable routine when the 'Empress' as we like to call her, came back. In truth, our routine is not all that calm because we have a puppy in the house and he's even more demanding than the Empress!
On to the really important stuff. We have photos, Wednesday's video and lots of new product. One thing the puppy has put a halt to is my card crafting. I don't have a set-up, yet, where he can see me while I work. Something to work on the next few weeks. I'll be happy to have him housebroken and for him to stop biting! That's the biggies for me right now.
First, Sharon's FB video from Wednesday is HERE.
Again, on to the good stuff! We've got a bit of an assortment to start out. Tim Holtz idea-ology has a new assortment of embellishments to go with classics from last year.
Gemini has 3D embossing folders. These are 5X7 and will work in your Gemini machines, Jr. and up.
Inserts for your MFT Box Card Die. You can use these to create hills and grass. The full Box Card Die is on order as we sold out of our first order. Check the on-line store. They will be added as soon as they arrive.
I apologize as these were left over from my last post and for some reason I didn't upload to the blog. Honey Bee has these cute dies to create a wagon and assorted pumpkins. You can have so much fun with these. They also have a great Autumn stamp to help with your sentiments.
Doodlebug paper is perfect for fall.
Here's a new product, Color Sparx, a Watercolor Powder. I see a video tutorial in Sharon's future.
Well Wishes die cuts. These are great for our first responders and health care workers who are STILL fighting for our loved ones everyday!
A new twist on an old product. These are the new, redesigned, Copic marker refills. They have a nice round barrel and I'm told an easier opening for refilling your Copics. We still do refill Copics. Place your sanitized markers in a plastic baggie with a sanitizing wipe to the store. We accept a maximum of five at a time. We will do our best to get all your markers safely refilled while you shop. If the store is busy or we are shorthanded we will refill and ask you to pick up at a later time.
Lastly, I have a preview for you. How many of us read this book to our children when they were little?
The illustrator of these books, Anita Jeram, has teamed up with Colorado Stamp Company to produce stamps based on her drawings. Sharon has ordered several styles and we are just waiting on delivery! We hope to have in by Friday. Here are some photos and I believe they can be pre-ordered on our website.
My husband is still masking up but it's a little hard to get a mask on a puppy, but both pose nicely for Momma!
I've always thought this...
That's it for today. Happy Crafting everyone and STAY SAFE!
