≥÷l;opikjuh - That first 'word' was brought to you by my 15 week old puppy, Cooper. The reason just about everything I do is late! So I'm here again with a late post but, I have both Wednesday and Friday's FB live links. Let's start with Wednesday HERE. As you see we had a guest host on Wednesday, our own Stitcher/Card maker, Kim! Like many of us Kim enjoys doing multiple hobbies. Like me, she's a cardmaker, stamper AND a counted cross stitcher. CCS (counted cross stitching) is very easy to learn and do and you can make beautiful things with it. Waffle Flower has adapted the idea to card making by making a set of dies with holes punched in to create your own blank CCS background on paper. Kim has shown, in the video, that you can use the patterns on the Waffle Flower site or create your own, or use any of the pattern books you cross crafters may have to embellish your cards. I do recommend you use 110 lb paper. Our 80 lb is too thin to bear the tension and the closeness of your stitches. If you would like to learn CCS to use on your cards, I'd be glad to give anyone a basic lesson that will get you started. Just let me know through the comments or call the store on a Thursday afternoon or Saturday and I'd be glad to help.
Our second FB video from Friday is HERE. As Sharon explains at the top of the video, the Saturday video she normally does was changed to Friday this week because we have our first in-store Stamp Camp on Sunday! WOOHOO!! We will be having a small number of people in the store for our Holiday Stamp Camp. We also have ZOOM SC coming up. As of Thursday afternoon there were two kits left but they may be gone by now. I hope everyone enjoys the cards Sharon has come up with. They are really lovely.
It's a class kinda blog post today. I don't have product photos but I do have upcoming class photos. All the dates are on the calendar and should be in the product description section of the website soon if not already. Only the Mama Elephant class still has dates to be assigned.
