Getting into the swing of things

*NOTE: I apologize for the lateness of this post. I had a few computer issues, hopefully fixed, enjoy.

All right, even though spring is on everyone's mind we are headed for six more weeks of winter. We've been lucky so far for the most part but we may be in for some major snow this weekend. Luckily, we have the best hobby for a being snowed in.

Sharon's Wednesday Facebook Live video is HERE. Great inspiration and ideas to use with your inks and tree stamps. I especially like how you can start with a slimline card idea and cut it down to a regular card. This is great for all of us who sometimes struggle with getting a smooth, line-less blending using distress or other inks on their backgrounds.

New color from Tim Holtz to add to our burgeoning collections - Kitsch Flamingo and boy is it kitschy! The ink pads in both Distress and Oxide along with their re-inkers, sprays, paints etc. are in now!

We are also taking registrations for Stamp Camp to be held the end of the month. If you were intrigued by all our talk of Maker Mania last week, there will be a Maker Mania 3 the weekend of June 4, 5, & 6. Registration for those who attended MM2 is now open and registration for any newbies who would like to join in will be available shortly. Sharon will post in email and on Facebook and I'll do a shout out here on the blog when it opens up.

Lastly, my daughter loves to dress up Cooper. He has a doughnut chew toy and Alexa thought it would be so cute if he could balance it on his head. Not sure Cooper agrees.

Here's my funny for the post. We here at BSS are happy to be your enablers!

Have a great weekend. I'll be back with Saturday's post tomorrow. Happy Crafting and Stay Safe!
