Here we are in the first week of March. Seriously, how did that happen? I feel like we had a pretty mild winter BUT - I expect to be hit with a whopper before we can safely say it's Spring!
We've been experiencing 'growing pains' with our new check-out system at the store. On any given day the charge machine doesn't work or the scanner doesn't work or the receipt printer doesn't work OR any multi combination of the above doesn't work at the same time!
I do not consider myself tech challenged nor am I a tech know-it-all by any stretch, but I get by fairly well and I'm not afraid of technology. Lately I have been only what can be described as 'Typhoid Techie" . EVERYTHING remotely technical that I have touched I have either broken, deleted or otherwise disabled. I'm almost afraid to write this for fear of losing the draft, disabling the app or killing my computer!
We had a glimpse of normalcy this past week. We had two, in-the-store, Stamp Camp sessions! It was nice to have people actually working a class in the store.
The late winter, early spring lull we might usually experience in the store is non-existent. Sharon has so much on her plate and it never ends! Example, new product, re-arranging the store to show new product, ZOOM classes, FB live videos, our new technology, on-line store sales, virtual classes direct from industry artists and companies, trade-shows via ZOOM - it never ends!
All of this brings me to today's post. I have Wednesday's FB live video HERE. Lots of fun new stuff and I have some photos to follow. Here is the completed box Sharon made last week with the MFT box die.
First up is Easter dies from IO. We have a very nice Easter display in the center of the store with these and more!
