I've got Sharons FB live video for you today. She did a lot of experimenting with the new Distress Ink color, Salvaged Patina that will give you a great idea how well it integrates with other Distress Ink colors. You will find the video HERE. It starts a little slow so hang in there Sharon has lots to show.
Sharon also took LOTS of photos from around the store. Displays mixed with product are the highlights for today. Let's take a look. We're going to start with little chicks and end with little chicks. Sharon loves to decorate the store. These little guys are on the table up at the front of the store.
When you come in check out the table just inside the entrance. We feature a variety of new product related to the season or to a special event. You have to look close to see it all! In this photo alone I see dies, sprays, glue, embossing folders along with great samples.
Flowers anyone? We have little sprigs of flowers in lovely spring colors in a basket on our front table. These can be used in dimensional cards, scrapbook pages and in our next feature, mixed media.
Because we've gotten in so much deliciously creamy and colorful glazes, pastes, and sprays AND we've been doing several mixed media classes both in store and with special guest artists, Sharon has revamped the displays featuring these products and added more display space for the new stuff.
What color and sparkle - true cosmic shimmer!
What goes really good with mixed media? Embossing folders! We have an ever-growing collection of regular 2D and 3D embossing folders. Here are just a few from Sizzix. More of the layered dies and Thinlits from Sizzix.
I mentioned guest artists above, well this is part of the product we've gotten in from Seth Apner's new line. I'm not a big mixed media girl, but the colors and variety of product is just awesome!Always a favorite, WOW embossing powders and embossing glitter.
Love, love, love these Honey Bee gem collections. Look at the variety and how much you get! Can not be beat!
Our love of Penny Black has no boundaries! We have these cuties, beautiful floral images, landscape and outdoor images and our very popular sentiment collection.
Don't forget the dies that go with the gorgeous Washi Tape from Pink Fresh.
What better tool for illustrating all those pastes and creamy paints and gels? Stencils! We have so many! Altenew, Taylored Expressions, Renke, Pretty Pink Posh, Lawn Fawn, Hero, MFT, Tim Holtz - the list goes on and on.If you don't know Sunny Studios yet, check it out. They make a great variety of dies and stamps at a reasonable price point. These are some of their great background dies over on our die wall.
Elizabeth Craft Designs has been going gangbusters with their journaling stamps and dies. One week I will get one of our customers, Lucia to bring in her journal so I can take pictures of the amazing work she does with this line.
Here is another corner of our front display that I thought would go with my second photo of chicks...
As you can see these chicks probably wouldn't take to inking and embossing paste! Janelle is starting her own farm at home! These chicks are the latest arrival. Who knows, we may be featuring eggs in our on-line store next! Here's my funny for the day. I was one of those kids with Elmer's glue!
That's it for me for now. I'll be back next with Saturday's Facebook video. It's also Derby weekend this coming weekend. The Kentucky Derby is running on Saturday. I'm excited it's back to it's traditional date even if all the festivities and crowds will not be the same. Also, tonight is the NFL draft from Cleveland! My husband is very excited (he's a Browns fan) and we are already planning to hopefully go to Cleveland for a football game this fall. Everyone have a crafty good week, STAY SAFE and I'll see you soon.
