Maker Mania Weekend and a Video

 For a group of you it's Maker Mania Weekend. Sharon will be doing her presentation at 1 pm this afternoon. I haven't had a chance to watch many of the video in real time but I have seen many photos of the projects created and I have to say, going into this, Graphic 45's Fairie Wings, the paper collection used was not one of my favorites BUT, I've seen some truly lovely cards, folios and projects done with these papers.

For those that don't know what I'm talking about, Maker Mania is a closed Facebook event sponsored by Crafter's Home. This is the third Maker Mania Weekend and 21 stores are participating coming from across the US, Canada and this time one UK store! Manufacturers contribute product that is used by each store to create wonderful, inspirational projects. Each store gets 45 minutes at a scheduled time during the weekend to show participants what they have created, sharing tips and techniques. This MM3 box contained G45's Fairie Wings paper collection, a Sizzix floral die set and shimmer cream, Hero Arts stamp set and more. If I can post photos of Sharon's projects next week, I will.

I have just  few photos for you so let's get to it. Altenew has some great new stamps, dies, embossing folders and stencils.

I hope you have been able to come into the store with vaccinations on the upswing and hopefully you have met our new staff member, Lori. She spent a good part of this last week creating samples of all our 3D embossing folders from Sizzix, Taylored Expressions and Altenew. The samples are hooked on each row of folders and give you a great idea of how gorgeous these folders are. Please check them out when you are in the store and say Hi! to Lori if she's working and welcome her to the BSS family.
