Wednesday Night Lights

Sharon has been busy, busy, busy at the store. Between lots of new product coming in and Sharon anticipating the change in seasons we have new Halloween displays and Christmas displays. But before we get started, a reminder that you still have a few more days to take advantage of our Wild and Wacky Week Sale. The entire store is on sale at 20% off. NOTE: Regular and new product exclusions apply! There are great deals to be had. Have you wanted to add some of those pricey background dies or nested dies to your stash? A new trimmer, layered stencils, 3-D embossing folders, there are lots of opportunities for you at this sale! This is an in-store sale, not on-line.

First are some new dies and stamps from Elizabeth Crafts. I’m sure Sharon will have more info on Friday. Friday because there is no video on Saturday because of Stamp Camp. Our weekend video will be on Friday.

First up from the video is this dimensional die set from Sizzix. You can see where the score lines let you accordion folds are in the large leaf. Folding will also help create the other two flowers.

Next up are several new embossing folders. You can see how Sharon attempt to bring out the details of the folder by adding ink.

We also have some more die sets. Halloween and fall will soon be here.

Sharon gently applied ink to these delicate flowers

I'm loving these layered pumpkin dies from Sizzix. I have several and in the past they were a little overwhelming but Sizzix has improved them by numbering the back side of the die with progressive numbers so you know which die is first, second, third, etc. They have also added a color hint to the back of each die piece so you have a starting point. Sharon traditionally cuts these in white and then colors with Copics but this time she used colored paper. They wouldn't be Sharon's if she didn't kick them up a little with some subtle shading with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

You can't read the words but you can see where the number of the die and color suggested is stamped on the back of the die.

Another improvement is the score style lines you can see on the front of the paper that show you where the next layer will be placed.

Here are all the layers together.

Here are the two pumpkins enclosed in the set. Two that Sharon made earlier and the one she made in the video.

Sharon started creating her card during the video. You can see that cool basket weave embossing folder as her background. Sharon will share the final version if a future video.

Lastly. we have a really spooky skull embossing folder. This one is not for the toddlers! I do have a nephew and neice-in-law who will love it though. Sharon added a little Black Soot to plain white paper and did a second sample on pearl metallic paper.

Two funnies for today. The first is for me because you never know…The second is for my husband and Cooper…

That’s it for today. I’ll be back after our next video so until then keep crafty and above all Stay Safe.
