Saturday Show and Tell

I was in the store as Sharon did her Saturday video and I have to tell you it’s getting a bit claustrophobic! There is so much NEW stuff! Roll Fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas all into a 2-3 month period and the store is bursting at the seams. I have a lot to share so no more talk, lots of photos.

We’re starting with a new class using Heartfelt Creations featuring roses. Due to the details and coloring involved you will be doing only these two cards in the class.

Rats! I missed these yesterday, drippy candles from Tim Holtz Ideology. If you haven't heard, Tim is releasing a new color next weekend. We are taking pre-orders. Any guesses as to what color family it will come from???

I shared brads in my last post and we have even more including roosters, chickens, and footballs.

The Buffalos are back! We have both the solid buffalos, small and large and the etched buffalo. All have shadow dies.

Next up are new and re-oders of these beautiful 6X6 pads featuring watercolor backgrounds accented in gold.

This is a new pad called Monochrome featuring blacks, grays and gold accents.

Next up is new Pretty Pink Posh. Just a warning, many of the coordinating dies and the stamps are already gone! First, a sentiment set.

Next are two of their new stencils. We already sold out a third design. I don't even know it's name!

The next installment in their envelope stamps, poinsettias and snowflakes.

Cute little reindeer.

Little Santa - there is a matching die.

A wreath you can decorate as you'd like and yes, there is a matching die.

Adorable mitten die that can easily be used to create a shaker.

Winter beverages.

New shaker bits,

New sentiment dies including Christmas Greetings.

A hot chocolate mug or whatever you want it to be. (Sorry for the blurriness)

This is a different tree die. I'd love to see a sample. Check out Pretty Pink Posh's website and blog for samples. Well get a sample up very soon.

Paper, paper, paper from new companies and old favorites. First up is Prima Vintage Christmas papers with solid sheets and cut apart images.

More of Paper Rose's collection. These are lovely.

Stamperia new papers and cut-aparts.

49th & Market Plum Grove. We also have all the bits and bobs that come in this collection, tapes, rub-ons, ephemera, die-cuts, film strips and more.

I believe this is Carta Bella. The funny glare comes from the cellophane covering of the paper pack. A bit of a bummer in getting a clear picture.

Lots of 6X6 paper packs from Paper Rose and a new company Deco Page Queen

I believe these plaids are Echo Park

I believe this is Paper Rose.

Paper Roses dies.

Photos from the December Days project we did in the store and over Facebook. We have a kit or two still available. You will get access to the FB video and as you can pause, you can take your time. I'm told the instructor moved along at a pretty quick clip in the live.

Another fun mini album by Lucia. She used Elizabeth Crafts Dies for many if not all of her pages.

I  believe Lucia also used this die set which I think is from Stamperia, but don't hold me to it!

Last up is a new coloring system we are carrying. You can see the display on the right. This system is called OLO.

Sharon shared the cartridge back stock photo. Each cartridge contains the equivalent of what you get in a Copic marker. Instead of refilling your pen, you replace the cartridge. Way less messy and you know exactly how much ink you have.

This alcohol ink system uses a cartridge that contains your color. You can customize your pens in a variety of ways. You can use one cartridge and a pen base as you can see below.

Or you can use the little connectors (in the plastic bag) and connect two different color cartridges to create one pen with each end being a different color. Great for shading.

Here you can see two different colors

The color cartridges joined with a connector.

We will still continue to carry Copics, we do love our Copics. The OLO's offer us an alternative ink system that is equal to Copics in quality and more customizable. We believe the cost is almost the same as Copics. We like that they are open to adding more colors and the quality is a plus. If you are looking to try alcohol ink markers but are intimidated by the range and cost of Copics, this might be a good option for you.

Lastly, my funny for today. I need a bigger door...

Have a good week everyone. I have a new winter platform pop-up I'd like to see if it would work as a class and I'm looking at a newer Spellbinder die set as a possible class to keep me busy. Stay crafty and above all Stay Safe! GO BILLS!
P.S. - It was so nice to see one of our northern neighbors in the store on Saturday. Missed you RoseMarie!
