It’s a big week for changes. We started with Halloween on Monday, a new month on Tuesday and Daylight Savings this coming weekend. I have my retreat next week. It’s been a year since I’ve seen my Scrappin’ Sisters as I missed March with knee surgery. In preparation and also because we’re of ‘an age’ my husband and I got our Covid booster AND flu shot yesterday. I had side effects with the first two boosters so I was prepared for the same this time. My DH has been sore and achy all day along with chills during the night. I woke up really, really tired and have had chills all day. If that’s the worst, I’ll take it!
Sharon is spending the weekend in Syracuse at Kaitlyn's baby shower so this is her only store video for the week but we have a lot o share. First up is Honey Bee. If you follow Jennifer McQuire, you know she did a whole series of gorgeous cards using these dies and vellum. Jennifer used these two impression background dies (but they don't really cut?) on her cards along with several of the dies that follow. If you get a chance check her blog post and YouTube video.
This is one of my favorites. The little village has so many details and extras. The etching in the roofs, trees and more make this a great die. Sharon suggested it would be great in one of the many box dies we have, great idea!
Each of these multiple piece dies has a layering instruction that goes with it. We're taping them to the back of the package so we don't forget to give them to you!
This poinsettia set has several layers AND several of the layers have empty petals while others have embossed veins, NOT a mistake. The empty petals are covered by the layer that goes on top WITH veining, but there's a layering guide if you need it.
This was another of my favorites, Birds. You get a layered cardinal (or blue jay) and a sparrow or chickadee. Use your colors to make your favorite bird.
There are several stamp sets that go with these dies.
Layered Bells
This tree is a little different. First, there is a matching stencil and embossing folder that coordinate with this die. ALSO, see the little lights and birds and other little items? There are small slits in the die on the right. Those elements can slide into those slits.
The larger die fits over the embossed version of the tree. Look at that detail. This is a 3D folder.
This leafy set is a great all around die to have in your collection.
Everyone is always looking for a good Mason jar!
This is a picnic basket. I'd like to see what Honey Bee does with this!
They also had some great stamp sets. Sharon liked this one, especially the sentiments.
Check out the sentiments, they work with the dies.
An angel stamp set
A great background stamp. I'd like to see it tone on tone in red!
Another sentiment stamp and a green Santa stamp with sentiments.
Lastly, Honey Bee has this 6X8 gingham pad, great colors and great for backgrounds.
Honey Bee also has several stencils.
Pink Fresh is up next with more coordinating Washi paper rolls matching stamps, dies and stencils.
This one is a bit different. No flowers, instead you have balloons and a cake! Great for a birthday card.
Pink Fresh also has a new 'chucky' tool. This one is very fashionable and comes in a lovely box that could be a project all on it's own.
Spellbinders is killing me! Between them and Honey Bee I’m going to go broke! Look what they’ve got. It goes under the heading of what’s old is new again! First are some small phrase stamps in a lovely script.

Next is a collection of round stamps. You'll see why in a photo or two!

Next are some dies of winter sprigs, holly and twiggy tree.
Lovely birds
Gotta have Christmas Hot Foil Plates!
Combining some of what we've already seen with something old that's new again.
Sealing Wax! Here are several of the seals and the melting spoon.
More seals and according to Sharon, you can use those round stamps with this wax.
We have lots of wax colors.
This is Honey Bee's new Silicone mat. If I understood Sharon, you can use this mat to make your wax impressions. She will be doing a demo very soon!
This mat can be used for a number of things including inking and painting.
You can see how much thicker this mat is vs. the Waffle Flower mat.
Finally for Spellbinders is this advent calendar. This is amazing! Sharon may have one or two left. This is not a kit. It is a special gift.
It opens like a book and you can see all the different numbered envelopes. Inside each one is a present! You can see some of the gifts at the bottom. This is designed to be a gift to a special crafter friend or as your Christmas present to yourself. Sharon gifted several of the ladies at the store this and Mona could not wait! She opened the first 10 as soon as she got it!
Wow! What a haul. Sharon is off this weekend. Jessica is flying up from Alabama and they are all going to Kaitlyn’s baby shower on Saturday. Kaitlyn doesn’t know it yet but Sharon is planning a short FB video at the shower. It’s been quite a while since Sharon has had her two girls together so I’m sure it will be a fun time for all as they help welcome Kaitlyn’s baby to the world.
It’s a doggy world out there so to introduce my funny for the post this is Obi. When we went to China one of the other mothers was a single woman who traveled with her dad, stepmom and the teenaged daughter of a friend of the family. Fast forward 20 plus years and Kara (the teenager) is now a married lawyer, business owner, mother of two daughters and the human of this guy, Obi. Boy does he like fall!
Have a great weekend everyone get crafty with some of this great new product. Above all Stay Safe and don’t forget to VOTE!
