Sharon began Wednesday nights video by asking viewers to craft along. Hopefully, my photos and description will allow you to make this card too. This challenge is based on a design by Bibi Cameron. I had seen her video so I was able to follow as Sharon created her card base. If you’d like to create this card and add your own spin, you will need a 8 1/2” X 11” white piece of cardstock cut long ways giving you two 4 1/4” X 11” pieces. You will also need scissors, a cutting tool, like a guillotine cutter, a score board, low tack tape, and a liquid glue. Sharon has asked makers to post to our Buffalo Stamp Makers Facebook Group.

Let’s get started. First, score one of your 4 1/4” X 11”card bases at 5 1/2” .
Cut one side of your card base 2 3/4" from the bottom.
Cut the piece you just cut off into 7 3/8" by 4 1/4" strips.
Anchor your card base with yellow or another low tack tape in three places. 1. At the top fold. 2. With the sticky side up, down the center of your card. The top of the tape line is attached to the underside of the short flap and extends past the bottom of the base where you attach, 3. A small piece too hold the center tape down.
Starting at the top short edge lay one strip about 1/8" down from the top. The tape will hold it in place. Place the next strip at the bottom, aligning it with the bottom edge of the card base.
Add three more strips, spacing them evenly.
Position the two remaining strips vertically, approximately 1/8" - 1/4" from each edge. Use your liquid glue to carefully adhere these strips.
Gently pull off your Washi strips once your glue is dry.
Cut off any hanging ends on your vertical strips.
Here is your finished card base ready for decorating!
Sharon used this die set for one of her samples.
Tuck in or layer over your strips. Sharon will finish this later and share on Buffalo Stamps Makers.
This is another sample Sharon shared. She used Pink Fresh die cuts and Washi tape.
For her last sample Sharon used the following Doodlebug dies and here is the Washi from Pink Fresh.
Sharon cut a blue rectangle for her sun (a little crooked, but we'll over look that...)
Add a little grass...
Sharon pre-assembled her gnome guy, flower, sun and other add-ons,
Here's her final card, very cute!
A review of your directions.

My funny for the post. Thank goodness we don't have bears. We don't have bears, do we????
That's it for today. Sharon will be back on Saturday with what's new and we might get a look at her finished first card. Until then play around with this card base. It's really fun. STAY WARM! everyone and above all Stay Safe.
