Playing Catch-up!

I was MIA for most of last week. I missed most of Sharon's Wednesday night video, all of Mona's Friday afternoon video and all of Saturday morning's video! This past weekend was our annual trip to Cleveland to see my husband's team, the Cleveland Browns. We had the added bonus of my brother and his wife joining us. We don't get to see them very often as they live on Long Island and spend most holidays with my sister-in-law's family. We had so much fun his weekend and had the added bonus of an unexpected Brown's win! I also enjoyed the Bills win on Sunday night. We stopped off at Hollo's in Brunswick, Ohio on the way home so I could stock up on A2 envelopes and some smooth cardstock and then headed home to the dog.

I'm going to try and do a shorter post without too much detail. Let's see how it goes! On Friday Mona shared several cards she created using Pretty Pink Posh's Fall release. This first card uses PPP's pumpkin die to create a shaker.  Mona also used a leafy impression background plate and a leaf stencil as part of her background.

Here you can see a background Mona created with Deco Leaves and Layered Woodland stencils.

Mona had a tip for doing multi layered stencils. After she does the first layer instead of lining up her second layer right on top of her paper, she places the first stencil on top of the second stencil and then lines up the joined stencils over her paper. She can then lift off the already used stencil leaving her next layer in perfect alignment to the paper below it.

Mona also shared her best tip for cleaning your stencils. First, she uses Dawn Power Shot to soap up her stencils then she uses Mr. Clean Magic Eraser to gently clean each stencil. It even gets red out! GREAT TIP!

The next card is a colorful Thankful card created with a cornucopia die set from PPP. Mona chose a wonderful color palette and highlighted her die cuts with ink and layers. The deco leaves stencil creates the background and the Thankful is another PPP die.

I always forget to ask Mona to hold the product packaging still long enough for me to get a picture! I missed several during this next card sample. Mona is still deciding how she wants to finish this one off. She used a PPP fall wreath stencil, PPP's fall sentiments stamp, PPP's sentiment banner dies and the new large acorn die.

Sharon originally shared these LDRS stamp sets for fall, Halloween, winter, and Christmas along with the ledger stamps AND Waffle Flower's postage stamp dies and stencils. Mona went a few steps farther.

This last example features Waffle Flower's own stencil set that coordinates with postage stamp die.

On to Saturday and there's ALOT! First, Sharon shared the cards she made on Wednesday, the day I also missed. Sharon showed how you could use the snow globe die sets by Spellbinders to make cards without the snow glove element.

Sharon forgot to mention in Wednesday's video that she has this great Pink Fresh stamp set as a giveaway to anyone who buys $50 worth of Pink Fresh! Not just ink cubes, but anything Pink Fresh - stencils, Washi tape, dies, paper stamp sets, gems, sequins - all count towards your total. This offer is good until Sharon runs out of the stamp set,

Next up is a Sharon favorite and you may see a class featuring several of these on calendar soon, Whipper Snapper!

Reminder on this one, we have the Edgar stamp back in stock along with Bills themed paper. the helmet is a die cut we create in the store. We have white, red and blue available.

We also have more Pretty Pink Posh! This is the winter/Christmas release. This is it for PPP until January. Mona is going to have a field day with this! I can't wait to see what she does.

How cute are these guys!

We also received lots of photos of samples to get your creative juices flowing.

This is the winter season add-on to their mug die set.

Christmas cupcakes, Kim may have a class coming with these.

We have these Christmas minis with matching dies along with mini bows. Remember, we can't put Taylored Expressions in our on-line store. If you are interested in any Taylored Expression product, call the store and put in a phone order or come on in!

Concord & 9th has this lovely nativity stamp set. I believe it is a stand alone.

Concord & 9th also has his holiday cloche die set. along with a large sentiment set.

Another great background plate, basket weave.

I hope you can see the detail in this photo.

If you ask my husband, it's always time for pie! I made four peach pies this summer. Concord & 9th has a new pie die set and coordinated stamp set.

A full calendar set for 2024.

They call this a selfie set.

Picture Perfect stamp set.

Last up is this adorable bird stencil set with a coordinating stamp set. You get one large bird and then additional stencil layers that creates six more smaller birds. After you color in your stencil you can use the coordinated stamp set to add texture, beaks, eyes, and legs to your birds.

The photo on the back of the stencils gives you some inspiration.

Sharon nabbed a set for herself and advised that C&9th is already out of stock for this stencil/stamp set. So when our supply is gone it will be a long time before we get it back in. Using Pink Fresh inks, Sharon demoed the large bird.

That was way more than I thought I was going to share! I'll be a bit more timely with my next post(s). I think I might finally have an idea or two for my own Christmas cards so I'll need to make a trip to the store soon. Enjoy this beautiful fall weather (without the rain) and don't forget, STAMP CAMP! Call the store and sign up soon.

Here's my funny for the day. I finally have a new computer! I took advantage of Prime Day and got myself a new laptop to replace my old desktop. Getting it set up reminded me of this cartoon. Unfortunately, this cartoon is way too close to true!

See you all soon. Stay Safe everyone.
