Home Again

We were away last week for Thanksgiving. I hope you all had a lovely weekend with family and friends. We traveled to New York City to help our daughter move. My daughter moved to a new apartment in New York City over the Thanksgiving weekend. It's a bigger apartment in a nicer neighborhood but it's a fifth floor walk-up - A FIFTH FLOOR WALK-UP! Enough said.

As the holidays begin to roll in I think we all find ourselves with so much to do and keep track of. On my list is decorating, company is coming, dinner to plan, shopping to do, wrapping and, of course, cards to make and send. I'm woefully behind on all of it!

I wasn't able to catch much of Sharon's videos while I was away but I was able to watch this past Wednesday and Saturdays videos. Sharon mentioned in her video that many of the stamp companies have already announced their final new product release for the year. Sharon shared several new products which I will show below and she's going to use her videos to showcase some of her favorite seasonal stamps, dies, stencils and foiling products until new product comes in.

Let's get started with IO - Impression Obsession, stamps and dies. These smaller stamp packages have double sentiments. You can use them together or one on the outside and the other on the inside of your cards.

IO makes great sentiment dies in a variety of different fonts for your card fronts and insides.

Next up is Aall & Create. They have several sets of die cut sentiments and words. This top one has 127 pieces!

There are black and white and colored collections. You can see another die cut collection peeking out on the right. These are gorgeously colored succulents. They also have colored hearts, envelopes and other useful dies for your cards and scrapbook pages.

Wild at Heart Fashionista papers.
More from Aall & Create, this time stamps.

Background stamps.

Stamps for cards for the guys on your list.

Aall & Create also has a more whimsical line seen here and below.

Im not quite sure what to make of these fairy stamps.

Mushrooms and Gnomes are very popular this season.

On this stamp, the smaller insects, butterflies and more are all separate stamps.

Love this stencil!

On Wednesday Sharon demonstrated a new Woodare stencil and several background and other stamps.

Sharon's finished samples.

Sharon demonstrated die that is a gift card holder. You have a base and then another smaller piece that has the cut out of a bow. However, the bow is still attached to the base at the top and bottom. The rest is open so you can slide your gift card in. Sharon cuts a second  piece in red and places it on top of the bow cut out.

I thought I'd share a card I made for a friend's granddaughter. She's eight and she loves Paris!

Here is my funny for the week,

That's it for me for now. I've abdicated the setting up of our Christmas tree to my cousin's daughter who is living with us for a while. I may chip in and help with the ornaments but I'm sitting back and relaxing while she is putting on the lights. I love a Santa's (or Donna's) helper!

Stay warm everyone, enjoy the lights and decorations around town, Go Bills! and most importantly, Stay Safe!
